Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 4.5
Your position is clear in the opening: “I am totally agree with this statement,” and you offer relevant points about changing circumstances, moving from village to city, and adapting to digital technology. However, the response only partially develops the question. The first paragraph focuses on older people feeling lonely or stressed, but does not clearly explain how this changes their habits or opinions; the later points are also asserted rather than supported with specific examples. The conclusion is brief and does not bring the reasons together. The response contains 203 words, so it is 47 words below the required minimum. Develop two or three relevant reasons in more detail and add a concrete example for each.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0
There is some basic organisation: the response has an opening, two body paragraphs signalled by “firstly” and “Secondly,” and a final sentence. These markers help readers identify the broad stages of the argument. However, progression within paragraphs is often unclear. For example, the link between older people not talking with their grandchildren and changes in their opinions is not explained, while the second paragraph moves quickly from village-to-city migration to lifestyle and unfulfilled activities. Connect each example explicitly to the main claim, and use clearer topic sentences. Some linking words, such as “furthermore” and “So,” are inserted mechanically; more precise transitions and clearer references would make the argument easier to follow.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use a small range of relevant vocabulary, including “culture experience,” “financial side,” and “digital work technologies,” which shows an attempt to discuss changing lifestyles and modernisation. However, the range is limited and several word choices or collocations are inaccurate or unclear, sometimes making the intended meaning difficult to follow. For instance, “classic generation” is not a natural way to refer to older people, and “try to enjoying their life” does not express the idea clearly. There are also spelling and word-form problems such as “everthing” and “Ai.” Build a more precise vocabulary for habits, attitudes, and life transitions, and check that words combine naturally in phrases.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
The response attempts some longer sentences, including “as folks getting old they have different taste due to their culture experience,” and uses basic connectors to join ideas. However, the range of sentence structures is limited, and errors occur frequently in verb forms, agreement, articles, and sentence construction. Examples include “people' s opinion changing,” “I am totally agree,” “they are feeling weak,” and “they thinking too much.” Several sentences also lack a clear grammatical structure, such as “Also, want to do everthing they did nothing before in life.” These errors sometimes make relationships between ideas difficult to understand. Practise forming accurate simple sentences first, then extend them with clauses using “because,” “when,” and “although,” while checking subject–verb agreement and tense.
