Student answer (Band 5.0)
As we know that the mind develeps with the increasing age of people due to this reason it changes the perceptions and way of things they do. I am totally agree with this statement which will be discussed in the upcoming paragraghs.
Firstly, I would like to say that the older people have already faced lot of difficulties and obstacles in their old times such as Living outside from home for earning money to support their family, Moreover, having bad or good experince at their workplace which teach them to live independentely and manage the things very well that is related to the money or supporting their families which is very less responsibilites we see in the case of young generation because of they depend on their parents and have less experience.
Secoundly, when people become older their bones become weaker so that, they usually face problem to manage the things independentely such as problem in mornning walks, excersise, daily chores of home which they do better when they young. Evenutually, the Older are the only one sometimes who takes the bigger decisions of their family because of better understanding and experience.
However, not everyone changes significantely, most of them like to stay connected with the their young style and way of thinking even they grow elder.
Conclusion: Although, the changing behaviour generally comes with the past happenings and experiences and comes with gradually but, some folks prefer to keep follow their younger style.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0
Your position is clear: you agree that people change as they age, and you give relevant points about work and family responsibilities, physical ageing, and decision-making. However, the response only partly addresses the question because it focuses more on changes in circumstances and abilities than on changes in habits and opinions. The point about older people making family decisions is linked to experience, but the examples are broad and not developed with a specific illustration. Your qualification that some people retain their younger outlook is relevant, though it is brief. The response is also six words below the required minimum. To strengthen the answer, discuss a specific habit and an opinion that may change, explain why, and support each with a concrete example.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The response has a recognisable structure: an introduction, two body paragraphs, a qualification, and a conclusion. Sequencing phrases such as “Firstly” and “Secoundly” help signal the main points, and the reader can generally follow the argument. However, progression is uneven: the second paragraph shifts from physical decline to family decision-making without clearly connecting these ideas to the question about habits and opinions. Some linking is mechanical, and “However” introduces a point that is not fully integrated with the preceding argument. The conclusion repeats the general idea rather than drawing the reasons together. Use clearer topic sentences, connect each example explicitly to your position, and use referencing and transitions more naturally.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use some relevant vocabulary for discussing ageing and experience, including “difficulties and obstacles,” “independentely,” and “bigger decisions.” This gives you enough language to communicate the main ideas, but the range is limited and several choices or spellings make the writing less clear or natural. For example, “bad or good experince” is imprecise, while “the older” and “young style” are awkward expressions. There are also repeated references to “things” and “experience,” which could be replaced with more specific wording. Aim for accurate collocations and vocabulary directly related to habits and opinions, such as “daily routines,” “attitudes,” and “priorities.” Proofreading spelling would also improve clarity.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and longer sentences, and some relationships between ideas are expressed through clauses such as “because of better understanding and experience.” However, complex sentences are often faulty, and frequent errors sometimes make the reader work to understand your meaning. For example, “As we know that the mind…” has an unnecessary “that,” and “I am totally agree” uses an incorrect verb form. In “which teach them,” the verb does not agree with its subject, while “when they young” is missing a verb. Punctuation also creates awkward breaks, as in “so that, they usually face problem.” Practise building accurate sentences with one main clause and a clearly connected supporting clause, then check agreement, articles, and verb forms.
