Student answer (Band 5.5)
Human growth increase day by day.It is very usual for people to transform both of their habits and their opinions as they get aged. I totally agree with this opinion due to be more responsible and more broader perspective others may disagree to environment has greater influence than age.
Among the numerous reasons for my agreement,a prime one is by getting older people become more responsible. For an example, more responsibilities make people more disciplined. Moreover, older people become more concerned about their health and they take care more efficiently of their friends and families.Furthermore, after becoming older people reduce unhealthy habits such as eating junk food or staying up late at night.
Another major factor for my concusses is it help people to hold broader perspective. For instance,by getting more life experience people can identify what is wrong or what is right in every situations. Moreover,it helps people to be more practical and helps people to become more open minded with less judgemental mentality. After that,it also helps people to change their priorities like in childhood everyone loves entertainmnet but after getting old they only think about their career, financial stability and family.
On the other side, there may have some other opinions for disagreement the main reason is environment plays a greater role than age.For an example, major life events can change behaviour and opinions of ones life. Moreover, education, relationships, career and social environment change person habits and opinions there donnot need any age. After that,if a person face a major breakdown in his younger age he will become more mature than his age group there will no need of get older. Therefore, changes cannot be attributed simply to getting older.
In conclusion, age plays a very crucial role to change ones habits and opinions due to it makes people more responsible and make people mind more broad. However, many people disagree to this opinion. In their opinion environment is the main reason to change ones habits and oipnions.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
You give a clear position in favour of the statement and address the opposing view that environment can also change people. Your reasons—greater responsibility, health awareness and a broader perspective—are relevant, and examples such as changing priorities from entertainment to career and family help illustrate your argument. This covers the task, but some points are asserted rather than fully explained: for example, you say older people become more disciplined without showing how this change commonly occurs. The counterargument is also developed at length, so the conclusion could more clearly reaffirm why age remains your main explanation. To strengthen the response, explain one or two examples in greater depth and make the relationship between age and changing habits or opinions more precise.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The response has a recognisable structure: an introduction, two paragraphs supporting your view, a paragraph presenting a counterargument, and a conclusion. This gives the reader an overall logical route through your ideas. However, cohesion is sometimes mechanical because several sentences begin with “Moreover,” “Furthermore,” or “After that,” and some links do not express the relationship clearly. For instance, “On the other side” introduces a contrast, but the paragraph’s connection to your main position could be signposted more carefully. References such as “it” in “it helps people to hold broader perspective” are also not always clear. Use a wider range of linking methods, including cause-and-effect links, and make each paragraph’s central point explicit before adding examples.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
You attempt vocabulary relevant to the topic, including “responsible,” “life experience,” “practical,” “open minded,” and “financial stability.” These choices help communicate the main ideas, and you show some willingness to use less common expressions. However, inaccurate word choice, collocation and spelling are noticeable and sometimes make the meaning less clear. Examples include “my concusses” for your conclusion or reason, “more broader perspective,” “more judgemental mentality,” and “there donnot need any age.” There are also spelling errors such as “entertainmnet” and “oipnions.” Aim for natural combinations such as “gain a broader perspective” and “become more health-conscious,” and proofread carefully. More precise vocabulary would make your argument clearer and less repetitive.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You use both simple statements and attempts at longer, complex sentences, including clauses beginning with “although” or “if” and explanations introduced by “because.” This shows some range, but control is inconsistent: several longer constructions contain errors that make the reader work to understand the intended meaning. For example, “I totally agree with this opinion due to be more responsible” lacks a clear grammatical structure, while “if a person face a major breakdown” has subject–verb agreement and verb-form problems. Articles, plurals and sentence boundaries also need attention, as in “in every situations” and the run-on opening “Human growth increase day by day.It is very usual…”. Practise building accurate complex sentences and check agreement, articles, punctuation and sentence boundaries before submitting.
