Student answer (Band 5.5)
It is widely believed that a lot of people tend to change their habits and opinions when growing older. I completely agree with this perspective because the experience that people gain throght the years may make his seen thing defferently which lead to a new view of the life.
The primary reason is that when people are younger they don't really have the enough experience that build they are openion correctly. A lot of them adapt openions without thinking too much and observing all the angels. However, with time and experience it common that they gain more knowledge so adulting shape our opinions.
Another key reason supporting this view is the number of people that change their comsumation habits when they grow older. For instance, when people are in their youner they do not choose food carefully, they only care about taste and how quickly they can have it. In the other hand, those same individuals start choosing carefully more healthy food espacially aftre they had a health problem.
In conclusion, I strongly believe that life and the deffuclty we live affect our openions and habits, so it is normal and common to change it.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0
Your position is clear: you completely agree that people change as they age, and you give relevant reasons about gaining experience and changing food choices after health problems. However, the response addresses the topic only partially because both reasons are briefly stated rather than fully explained or supported with specific examples. For instance, “adulting shape our opinions” does not clarify how experience changes a particular opinion, and the food example could explain what changed and why. The conclusion restates your view but adds no development. The response is also 55 words below the required minimum, which limits the space available to develop your ideas. Extend each main point with a concrete example and explanation.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The response has a coherent overall arrangement: an introduction states your position, two body paragraphs present separate reasons, and a conclusion returns to your view. Signposting such as “The primary reason,” “Another key reason,” and “In conclusion” helps readers follow this structure. However, the progression within paragraphs is sometimes abrupt: the first body paragraph moves from young people’s limited experience to adults’ knowledge without clearly explaining the connection. Some linking is also mechanical, and “In the other hand” does not express the intended contrast clearly. Use transitions that accurately show relationships, and connect each example back to the main claim. Clearer reference to who “they” and “those same individuals” mean would also improve cohesion.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use enough topic-related vocabulary to communicate the main ideas, including “experience,” “opinions,” “habits,” “consumption habits,” and “health problem.” There are also attempts to express more specific ideas, such as choosing food carefully. However, the range is limited, and frequent spelling errors and inaccurate word choices sometimes make the reader work to understand your meaning. Examples include “throght,” “defferently,” “openion,” and “comsumation.” Some phrases are also unnatural, such as “observing all the angels” and “the difficulty we live.” Build accuracy by checking spelling and learning natural collocations for discussing experience, decision-making, and lifestyle changes. Aim to use a few precise expressions rather than repeating general terms.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and more complex sentences, including a reason clause beginning “because” and a relative clause in “the experience that people gain.” This shows some range, but complex structures are often faulty, and errors occur frequently enough to affect clarity. For example, “the experience … may make his seen thing differently” has problems with pronoun reference and verb construction, while “when people are younger they don't really have the enough experience that build” contains errors in article use, agreement, and clause structure. “It common that they gain” also lacks a required verb. Practise building accurate sentences with one main clause and a clearly formed subordinate clause, then check agreement, articles, and verb forms.
