Student answer (Band 6.0)
As you grow older it is common that individuals tend to have different opinions and habitual changes. I agree with this as aging comes with many factors relating which can positively impact the way an individual thinks due to maturity increase and the other factor could also lead to improvising on good habits.
Individuals that grow older tend to think better with maturity in most cases. For example, as a young teenager my immediate defense in case I was not able to plan an international trip due to funds shortage would result in my behaviour of being rebellious with my parents in order to ensure I receive some financial support from them. However, as you grow older and realise life's importance and value relationships better I was able to change the way I think and approach with a solution in a similar case instead of behaving disrespectful with parents.
More over, Individuals growing older also have different habits that they inculcate that may not exist when they were in their twenties or thirties. For example, as a young individual you are more prone towards consuming junk food and as you gain more knowledge that shift in ensuring your intake of food results in a healthy manner along with your daily lifetsyle changes ensures a complete check on your overall mental and physical health.
In conclusion, It is a commonly known that as an individual grows older in life there is a shift in habits and opinions that develope for the betterment of their own future.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.5
Your position is clear from the introduction (“I agree”), and both parts of the prompt are addressed: you discuss changes in opinions and in habits. The personal example about responding differently to your parents gives the first point relevant support, while the contrast between junk food and healthier routines illustrates the second. This is a solid response, but the development is uneven: the first example explains how maturity changes your behaviour, whereas the habit paragraph makes a broad generalisation and gives less detail about how or why this change occurs. To strengthen the response, explain the causes and consequences of each change more fully and make the link between each example and your agreement explicit. The conclusion restates your view but could synthesise the two reasons more precisely.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.5
The response has a clear overall structure: an introduction, two body paragraphs organised around separate reasons, and a conclusion. The examples are placed in the relevant paragraphs, so the reader can follow the main progression. You also use linking expressions such as “For example,” “However,” and “In conclusion.” At times, though, cohesion is mechanical or unclear. “More over” introduces the second point abruptly, and the long sentence beginning “However, as you grow older” shifts from “you” to “I,” making the reference less consistent. The conclusion repeats the central claim rather than drawing the two strands together. Use transitions that show the relationship between ideas, keep pronouns consistent, and divide lengthy sentences where needed to make the progression smoother.
Lexical Resource: Band 6.0
You use an adequate range to discuss maturity, behaviour, habits, and health, including terms such as “rebellious,” “relationships,” and “mental and physical health.” These choices help communicate the examples, and the meaning is generally clear. However, some attempts at more formal or less common wording are inaccurate or unnatural, such as “maturity increase,” “improvising on good habits,” and “inculcate” in the context of habits. There are also spelling and word-form slips, including “lifetsyle” and “develope.” These do not prevent understanding, but they limit precision and naturalness. Prefer familiar, accurate collocations—for example, “greater maturity,” “develop healthier habits,” and “adopt a healthier lifestyle”—and proofread spelling and word forms.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5
You attempt both simple and complex sentence forms, including clauses introduced by “as,” “that,” and “instead of,” and the main ideas remain understandable. Some sentences are nevertheless difficult to control. In “I agree with this as aging comes with many factors relating which can positively impact,” the clause structure is incomplete or unclear. The sentence beginning “However, as you grow older” also shifts from second person to “I was able,” and the final sentence has an awkward construction: “It is a commonly known that…”. There are further issues with articles, agreement, and punctuation, such as the capitalised “Individuals” after a comma. Work on building complex sentences around a clear subject and verb, maintaining consistent tense and person, and checking articles and sentence boundaries.
