Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0

You give a clear, relevant position: you agree that opinions change with age, while arguing that habits may remain stable. The contrast is supported with personal examples, including how your sales strategy has changed through experience and how you have kept the habit of brushing your teeth. This addresses the question and makes the response personal. However, the discussion of opinions is more developed than the discussion of habits, and the explanation of how experience leads to better decisions could be clearer and more specific. To strengthen the response, explain why some habits persist while opinions change, and develop each example with a little more detail so the reasoning is fully clear.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5

There is an overall progression from your general view to personal experience and then to examples, so the reader can follow the main contrast between changing opinions and stable habits. Phrases such as “for example” and “but now” help signal relationships between ideas. However, the response is presented as one long block, and several ideas run together, particularly in the opening and the discussion of your work. Some links are repetitive or unclear, such as repeated uses of “if I look” and “but.” Use separate paragraphs for your position, changing opinions, and lasting habits, and connect each example explicitly to the point it supports. This would make the organisation clearer and reduce the effort needed to follow the argument.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use relevant vocabulary to express the main ideas, including “attitude,” “opinions,” “experience,” “strategy,” and “habit.” These words allow you to discuss both personal development and routine. However, the range is limited and several expressions are repeated, while spelling and word-choice errors sometimes make the meaning difficult to interpret—for example, “my openion is cahnge” and “wright dicision.” Some phrases are also unnatural, such as “when I become aged” and “my sales strategy was one kind.” Build a more accurate range of common expressions for change and routine, and check spelling carefully. More precise wording would help you communicate your examples without requiring the reader to infer your meaning.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt to express relationships between ideas using longer sentences, including the contrast between changing opinions and unchanged habits. However, the range of sentence structures is limited, and attempts at complex sentences are often faulty. For example, “when they are become aged” has an incorrect verb form, while “when I become aged day by day my openion is cahnge” lacks accurate tense and sentence structure. There are also problems with articles, agreement, and punctuation, as in “for human” and the run-on opening. These errors can make parts of the response difficult to understand. Practise forming accurate simple sentences first, then combine them with clauses using “although,” “because,” and “while,” checking verb forms and sentence boundaries.
