Student answer (Band 5.0)
Nowadays, people might to change both theirs habits and opinions as they get older because of people' perceive level is altering. They cannot decide by themselves maybe main reason is they are not dependent anymore. Elderly individuals have to accept they need to tolerate new opinions and habits. I partly agree that old generation require to change their behaviors and thoughts.
On the one hand, depending on the generations, to be change is challenging arguments for everybody. When you were young. you can think all your ideas and behaviors totaly right. This issues can cause hard to understand others. For instance, a teenager argued with parents, he or she blame them and complain about they will not understand their child. Old generations are different than young one because of they are independent anymore. Therefore, elderly people' habits and opinions might be different than teenager one.
On the other hand, In my opinion sometimes young people require to change their personalities, ideas and habits. They do not have experience about lifestyle, they need to follow their grandparents or relatives' feedbacks. They have multiple experiences about every part of their life including positive things and negative ideas. As an example, when you gain experience from your manager, you will be a good leader in your career pathway. Hence, if you will make harmonize your behavior and older people' feedback in your basket, you do not need to alter yourself.
To sum up, there are a lot of people change their things when they are old because of hard to manage every problems byself. In same time when you were young , you can collect lot of experi

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 4.5
You give a partly agreeing position and attempt to discuss how age and experience relate to changing habits and opinions. The examples about a teenager arguing with parents and learning from a manager are relevant starting points. However, the response only partially answers the question: the discussion shifts between older people changing and young people needing to change, so your view on whether people commonly change as they get older is not consistently explained. The conclusion is also incomplete, ending with “you can collect lot of experi,” and does not clearly restate your position. Develop each main reason with a clear explanation and a complete example, and ensure the conclusion directly answers the question.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 4.5
The response has an introduction, two body paragraphs and a concluding paragraph, and signposts such as “On the one hand,” “On the other hand” and “To sum up” show an attempt to organise ideas. However, progression is difficult to follow because the relationship between points is not always clear. For example, the first body paragraph moves from the challenge of changing to teenagers’ disagreements, then to older people being independent, without explaining the links. The second paragraph’s advice to young people also sits uneasily with the stated focus on changes as people get older. Some linking phrases are used mechanically, and the final sentence is cut off. Plan one central idea per paragraph and connect each example explicitly to your position.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use some topic-related vocabulary, including “opinions,” “habits,” “experience,” “independent” and “feedback,” which helps communicate the general subject. There are also attempts at less common expressions, such as “career pathway.” However, the range is limited and several inaccurate word choices or collocations make meaning unclear, including “people’ perceive level,” “challenging arguments,” “make harmonize your behavior” and “in your basket.” Spelling and word-form errors such as “totaly” and “byself” also reduce precision. Aim for natural, accurate phrases rather than translating expressions literally; for instance, explain that experience can “shape a person’s outlook” or that someone may “adapt their behaviour.”
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and more complex sentences, including clauses introduced by “because,” “when” and “if.” This shows some effort to vary sentence structure. However, complex sentences are often faulty, and frequent errors can make the reader work to understand your meaning. Examples include “people might to change,” “they are not dependent anymore,” “When you were young. you can think,” and “if you will make harmonize.” There are also problems with agreement, articles, plurals and punctuation, as in “every problems” and the sentence fragment “When you were young.” Practise building complete sentences with one clear main clause, then check verb forms and agreement before adding subordinate clauses.
