Student answer (Band 6.0)
Human beings change as they grow older. Apart from physical changes, their opinions and habits change which is common. I agree with this notion, however , I will discuss the other part of view.
To begin with, there are various reason for the agreement with the argument. First and foremost, individuals become mature when they grow up as compared to their childhood. While getting older, people get exposed to different aspects of society such as building family, manage expenses, budgeting and survival in the long term. These different kinds of situations and responsibilities leads to change in habits and opinions. For example, a child who used to spend a lot of money on his toys or clothes, starts saving money or spends on needs rather than wants after getting job and saving for future. Furthermore, people's personal experiences changes their thoughts. For instance, a person who loves to eat and gain extra weight which leads to physical illness, may end up changing his eating habits and opinions regarding junk food.
However, on the other side, there are some personality or natural traits in human which may not evolve in the long term. The common opinions or habits such as following tradition, customs and their beliefs.
In nuthsell, changing habits and opinions of people as they get older is common because individuals experience the responsibility, survival and managing a family which directly affect their thoughts and way of living. Meanwhile, some in-build or natural traits of human beings never change such as their personality or beliefs.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.5
Your position is clear: you agree that people commonly change with age, while acknowledging that some traits may remain stable. The main body gives relevant reasons, including increased responsibilities and personal experiences, and the examples about saving money and changing eating habits help illustrate your view. This addresses the task well. However, the counterpoint about traditions, customs and beliefs is only briefly stated, and the conclusion repeats the main idea rather than drawing the discussion together. To develop the response further, explain when beliefs or personality traits might remain unchanged, and connect that qualification more explicitly to your overall position. The response already has a clear argument and relevant support, but some ideas are less fully developed than others.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.5
The response has a recognisable structure: an introduction, a paragraph supporting change, a contrasting paragraph, and a conclusion. The progression from maturity and responsibilities to personal experience is logical, and signposts such as “To begin with,” “Furthermore,” and “However” help readers follow the argument. Some linking is mechanical or imprecise, though: “I will discuss the other part of view” does not clearly preview the essay, and “on the other side” repeats the contrast already signalled by “However.” The final paragraph also restates earlier points rather than synthesising them. Use clearer topic sentences and more precise referencing, and make the relationship between each example and its supporting claim explicit. This would make the organisation feel more consistently controlled.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
You use enough vocabulary to discuss the topic, including terms such as “responsibilities,” “personal experiences,” “budgeting,” and “survival in the long term.” These choices communicate the main ideas, and there are attempts to use more specific language. However, several expressions are inaccurate or unnatural, which limits precision: “other part of view,” “different kinds of situations,” and “in-build or natural traits” do not express the intended meanings naturally. “Nuthsell” is also misspelled, and “opinions” is repeated frequently where “attitudes” or “views” could add variety. Aim to learn common collocations and check spelling and word forms. More accurate phrasing would make your vocabulary more effective without requiring unnecessarily complex words.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5
You attempt a mix of simple and complex sentences, including clauses beginning with “While” and “who,” and the overall meaning is generally understandable. However, errors in agreement and sentence construction recur. For example, “various reason” needs a plural noun, “responsibilities leads” has a subject–verb agreement error, and “people's personal experiences changes” also mismatches subject and verb. The sentence beginning “For instance, a person who loves to eat and gain extra weight” is not grammatically complete in its current form, while “I agree with this notion, however” needs more accurate punctuation. Practise checking subjects and verbs, and revise long sentences to ensure each has a clear main clause. Greater accuracy in these patterns would strengthen your control of complex structures.
