Student answer (Band 5.5)
Thinking and the way people react depend on what type of environment or kind of people they are living with. This essay will partially agree with fact of changing viewpoints as the time passes and situations in life move around.
To begin with, when I was backhome I used to be chill and calm person. As, I moved abroad to pursue my studies I see more maturity and understanding within me. For instance, I used to be quite and introvert person but over time I feel developed towards extrovert nature and habits. Definitely age is one of the reason which played role in provinding me sense of maturity and growth in me but on the other hand I believe enviornment also plays cruial role to expand thinking and lifestye of a person.
Following through, I have observed older people giving life advice to the younger ones. For example, how things go, how people judge each other based on their dressing, the way they talk, eat and treat others. All these skills showcase the experience they gained throughout their life and what they learned from their not only their contructive feedbacks but also the mistakes they did and improved themselves. Every single aspect take back things to the type of community they lived in.
To add on, If the person lived in a area where womens where not suppossed to dress western or the way they wanted and asked to be covered. People living around that nature will surely have similar type of thinking and controlling nature. Intsead of thinking from their years experience they will think whatever the way world leads to guide around.
To conclude, age does hold significant impact on habits and opinions of an indivual but I believe environment also plays vital role how things change and leaves impact on mind. Understanding situation by taking the allocated time could lead to make healthy decisions in like and keep mind relaxed.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
You address the question and present a clear, qualified position: age can influence people, but environment also shapes their habits and opinions. The personal example of moving abroad and becoming more mature gives the argument relevant support, while the discussion of older people learning from experience adds another reason. However, the response focuses more on environment and maturity than on how opinions change specifically as people age. The example about restrictions on women’s clothing is relevant, but its connection to ageing and changing views is not fully explained. To strengthen the response, develop this link and show more clearly whether people commonly change their views as they grow older, using a specific example of a changed opinion as well as a changed habit.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The essay has a clear overall structure, with an introduction, separate supporting paragraphs and a conclusion. The ideas generally progress from your personal experience to observations about older people and then to the influence of community. Linking phrases such as “To begin with,” “For instance” and “To conclude” help signal this structure. At times, however, the connections between ideas are not fully clear: the paragraph about clothing restrictions does not explicitly show how age leads to a change in opinion, and “Following through” is an awkward transition. Some references, such as “that nature” and “all these skills,” are also unclear. Use transitions that express the precise relationship between points, and make each paragraph’s main claim explicit before giving its example.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
You use a reasonable range of vocabulary for the topic, including “maturity,” “experience,” “community” and “significant impact,” and you attempt more specific expressions such as “controlling nature.” These choices help communicate your main ideas. However, inaccurate word choice, collocation and spelling sometimes make the meaning less natural or precise. Examples include “quite and introvert” for “quiet and introverted,” “provinding,” “enviornment,” and “constructive feedbacks.” Phrases such as “expand thinking” and “the way world leads to guide around” are difficult to interpret. Aim to learn common word partnerships and check spelling and word forms. More precise vocabulary for changes in beliefs—such as “revise one’s views” or “become more open-minded”—would also help you address the question directly.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and complex sentence forms, including a conditional example beginning “If the person lived in an area…” and a contrast introduced by “but.” This shows some range, and the overall meaning is usually recoverable. However, errors in sentence construction and grammatical forms occur across the response. For example, “I used to be chill and calm person” needs an article, while “As, I moved abroad … I see” has faulty punctuation and an inconsistent tense. In “Every single aspect take back things,” the subject and verb do not agree, and the final sentence has an unclear grammatical structure. Work on articles, agreement, consistent past-tense narration and punctuation around introductory clauses. Revising sentences for a clear subject and main verb will improve accuracy.
