Student answer (Band 5.5)

In modern era, everyone likes to live their life according to their convience and comfort. As a person grow he/she gets experience and they learn from it and willing not repeat any mistake from their lessons. I will articulate both side and give my opinion at the end of an essay.

Habits and opinion does not come instantly, it takes years and experience to realize about things. Making habits is not something which can be build in just time it needs a proper dedication and consistency, therefore people can do that in their routine. Every person has their different opinion and view which they learned from their experience or gaining a knowledge by various ways. It should not matter the age. If a person likes to live their life with their principle, moral that take years to build will definitely not like to change theri opinion for a time being situation. For an instance, people who have habit of keeping a records on paper based on that they are ending up keeping a single document in bundle and learning technology make their work easy and store data accordingly alphabatically and their needs.

On the other side, people have belief that folks should think about their habits and opinion according to situation which give them chance get modern and easy solution rather than being rigid and follow process. It can help others to express their opinion and solution can save lot of time and energy. For an instance, If a organization is going through cris, managment should discuss with their employees as their will be differnt minds it might chances to get solution to the problem and company can save a lot money, time take further actions to make it smooth run.

In the end,I would like conclude with it should be ratoinal decision rather than by age. because modern problem needs new solution with experience it can be super easy to figure out and sometime it can be use as caution as well to avoid any barrier.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0

You discuss both the possibility of maintaining established views and the benefits of adapting, and your conclusion suggests that decisions should depend on circumstances rather than age. However, the question asks whether people commonly change their habits and opinions as they get older, while much of your response shifts to whether people should change them. Your position is also not clear in the introduction, where you promise to give it “at the end,” and the conclusion does not directly state whether you agree or disagree with the claim. The examples about record-keeping and a company crisis are relevant to adaptation, but their connection to ageing is not explained. State your degree of agreement early, then develop examples showing how age or experience leads to change.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5

The response has a recognisable structure: an introduction, two body paragraphs presenting contrasting views, and a conclusion. Transitions such as “On the other side” and “In the end” help signal these sections. However, progression is weakened because the essay moves from whether people change with age to whether they ought to adapt, without clearly linking those ideas. Some sentences contain several points at once, particularly the record-keeping example, making the relationship between the example and the main claim difficult to follow. Referencing is also unclear in places, such as “that” and “it” in the final paragraph. Give each paragraph one clear purpose, use shorter sentences to explain examples, and connect each example explicitly to your position.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.5

You use some relevant vocabulary for the topic, including “experience,” “principle,” “rigid,” “solution,” and “express their opinion.” These choices show an attempt to discuss both personal beliefs and practical change. However, the range is limited by repeated general words such as “people,” “opinion,” “habit,” and “solution,” and several word choices or collocations are inaccurate or unclear. For example, “build in just time,” “a time being situation,” and “modern problem” do not express the intended meanings naturally. Spelling errors such as “convience,” “theri,” and “alphabatically” also make the writing less precise. Build a bank of topic-specific phrases and check spelling and collocations; for instance, use “established routines” or “adapt to changing circumstances.”

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple and longer sentence forms, including clauses introduced by “as,” “which,” and “rather than.” However, complex sentences are often faulty, and frequent errors in agreement, articles, verb forms, and sentence boundaries sometimes make the meaning difficult to follow. Examples include “As a person grow,” “Habits and opinion does not come,” and “people can do that in their routine.” The long sentence beginning “For an instance, people who have habit…” lacks clear grammatical control, while the conclusion has a sentence boundary problem after “age.” Practise building accurate sentences around one main clause, then add subordinate clauses carefully. Check subject–verb agreement, singular and plural forms, and punctuation before submitting.
