Student answer (Band 5.5)
In today's complex world, numerous issues and topics are subject to debate. One such topic is changes in human's behaviour and their opinions by age. Some people believe that it is normal for individuals to change their habits and views as they become older while others disagree with this idea. In this essay, i will explain why i agree with this statement and provide examples to support my position.
Firstly, human's life is a mixture of experiments and experinces. In other words, from our childhood to young and then old, the whole life everyday we learn something new. our new believes comes from our daily life experinces and they suppress old believes. For example, a child think playing video game is the way how he got happiness but while he is getting older his prospectives totally changes. Thus, people in their fourties focous to get rich. They think money is every thing and same people in their sixties relize that their main property is their body.
Secendly, human bodies changing everytime, diffrent ages diffrent level of energy. Getting older means getting week body. To explicate it, scinscetse reserch that human body makes new tisshues untill age of 21 and age 21 to 40 is fastly repairs in body and after trhe age of 40 human's nervour system getting slow. Hence, we did not feel energies as younger and it effects on our habits and opinions as lack of energies.
In conclusion, everyone has diffrent habits and diffrent views basis on age groups. As much as our mind developes it chooses new views. Changing opinions and habits while getting older is natural .

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
Your position is clear: you agree that habits and opinions commonly change with age, and both body paragraphs give relevant reasons. The first paragraph links life experience to changing priorities, using the contrast between a child who enjoys video games and older adults who value money or health. The second connects physical changes with habits and views. These points address the task, but they are not equally well developed: the first gives examples, while the claims about energy and the nervous system are asserted rather than clearly connected to specific changes in opinions or habits. Develop each reason with a more precise example and explain the link to your position.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.5
The response has a clear overall structure: an introduction, two reason-based body paragraphs, and a conclusion. Sequencing phrases such as “Firstly,” “Secondly,” and “In conclusion” make the progression easy to follow, and examples generally appear beside the point they support. This coherent arrangement is a strength. However, some links are mechanical, and a few references or transitions are unclear—for example, “same people in their sixties” does not clearly identify who is being discussed, while “Hence” introduces a conclusion without fully explaining the preceding research claim. Use more precise referencing and connect each example to the main argument with explicit explanation; this would make the cohesion more flexible and natural.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You attempt vocabulary suited to the topic, including “experiences,” “perspectives,” “nervous system,” and “opinions,” and you communicate the general ideas despite errors. However, the range is limited and many spelling and word-choice problems make the writing less clear, such as “experinces,” “believes,” “focous,” and “relize.” Some expressions are also unnatural or imprecise: “main property is their body” and “getting week body” do not convey the intended meaning naturally. Build accuracy with common topic vocabulary before reaching for more complex terms, and check spelling and collocations carefully. More precise phrases such as “value their health” would express your examples clearly.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You use both simple sentences and attempts at longer structures, including “while he is getting older” and the sentence beginning “Getting older means…”. The main message is usually understandable, but errors in agreement, verb forms, articles, and sentence construction recur. For example, “our new believes comes” has a subject–verb agreement problem, and “human bodies changing everytime” lacks a finite verb. The sentence about research and age groups is difficult to follow because its clauses are not formed clearly. Practise building accurate basic sentences first, then combine them using subordinate clauses. Also check capitalisation and punctuation, particularly at sentence beginnings and around longer explanations.
