Student answer (Band 5.0)
I`m agree that it`s very common for people to change both their habits and their option as when people get holder theire ideas and belives changes, these mean that every life experience give to us new knowledge and experience such knowing new culture or having more interest for your physicall and mentally wellbeing. When people getting older they understand better what it`s really meaningful for their life like the family as it`s a really important part of ous life. Every generetion get new skill from new technology that it`s in increse every years and these have a strongly impact on what we lern and how fast we doing. For my knowledge the new generation have more opportunity to learn faster , doing some research online while for older the tecnology it`s still one "taboo" as they was born without phones and internet, Also when people get holders have another vision of how important it`s the childood and how avoid next generation to feel alone. As the year go by people being more respectful with their body trying to doing exercise and following a good diet, for exaple when i was younger i was lovin ate chocolate and sugar, while now i`ve understood how important your body so i decide to eat healthy food and stop smoking, and was really helpfull for my development. olders also chainge their habits such the way their meet their friend or hang out but i think these part of the normal process that everyone have at some poit of their life.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
You take a clear position in favour of the statement and give relevant reasons, including changing priorities around family, technology, and health. The personal example about replacing chocolate and smoking with healthier choices helps illustrate how habits can change with age. However, several points are only briefly stated: the contrast between generations and the idea of preventing children from feeling alone need clearer explanation and support. The response is also 242 words, below the 250-word minimum; the 11 words copied from the task prompt are not counted. Develop one or two reasons more fully and add a concise conclusion that restates your view.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 4.0
The response contains a sequence of relevant ideas, and linking expressions such as “For my knowledge,” “Also,” and “for example” show an attempt to connect them. However, the ideas are presented in one long paragraph, so the reader cannot easily distinguish the main reasons or follow a clear overall progression. Some links are unclear—for instance, the move from technology and generations to childhood and then to diet happens without a clear transition. Several sentences also run together, making relationships between points difficult to track. Organise the response into an introduction, separate body paragraphs for distinct reasons, and a conclusion. Use a smaller number of accurate linking phrases and make each paragraph develop one central idea.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You attempt vocabulary relevant to the topic, including “life experience,” “new technology,” “wellbeing,” and “healthy food,” and you communicate several different ideas. However, the range is limited and many spelling and word-choice errors make the writing difficult to read, such as “option” for “opinions,” “holders” for “older,” and “taboo” where you appear to mean unfamiliar or difficult to use. Some combinations are also unnatural, including “strongly impact” and “doing exercise.” These errors sometimes obscure your intended meaning. Build accuracy with common topic vocabulary and check spelling and collocations carefully. Prefer clear, natural phrases over ambitious wording that does not fit the context.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt to express connected and complex ideas, for example by using clauses beginning with “when” and “while,” and the reader can understand the general position. However, the range of sentence structures is limited, and attempts at longer sentences are often faulty. Examples include “I’m agree,” “every life experience give to us,” and “people getting older they understand,” which show problems with verb forms, agreement, and clause construction. Missing or misplaced punctuation also causes several ideas to run together. Practise building accurate simple sentences first, then combine them with controlled subordinate clauses. Check subject–verb agreement, verb forms, and sentence boundaries before submitting.
