Student answer (Band 6.0)
In the cotemporary era, it is often noticed that people alter their habits and belief as they grow older. I completly agree with the trend of change in peoples behviour. The reasons for this with relevant examples will be highlighted below.
To begin with, people become more responsible as they grow older. An individual tries to focus to grow in their carrer and avoid going unnecessary outside with friends. Most people after completing their graduation realize their responsibilities towards their family and start to earn. For example, a stubborn individuals when they grow up apply for jobs in various companies instead of playing video games. Moreover, people who grow older change their viewpoints about different topics. As people explore more they get a good idea about living their lifestyle. Most people in their early age used to like the concept of spending more money than saving. But their opinion varies when they start earning and save money for their family.
Furthermore, people get a clear picture of country's law. Teenager often commit mistakes for fun and entertainment purpose. They break laws by driving fast and some even start drinking and smoking. However, they grow older they accept their mistakes gracefully and try to avoid doing unethical activities. This is because they become aware about the rules and regulations with which society works and also concentrate on their good well-being. For instance, a person who have commited a crime in his early age might not repeat. This happens because he have gained experience and have seen the negative effects of doing crime.
To conclude, people change their habits because they take charge of their family and become aware about their good well-being. Their viewpoint alter as they get more experience by exploring different places.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.5
Your position is clear from the introduction: “I completely agree,” and the response stays focused on how habits and opinions change with age. You give relevant reasons, including increased family responsibility, changing attitudes to saving, and greater awareness of laws, with examples such as beginning work and avoiding risky behaviour. This addresses the task well. However, some points are more fully explained than others: the discussion of saving is understandable, while the claim that older people avoid illegal behaviour is broad and the example of a person who committed a crime remains hypothetical. To strengthen the response, explain more precisely how experience changes a person’s beliefs and support each main point with a specific, developed example.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.5
The response has a clear overall structure: an introduction, two body paragraphs presenting reasons, and a conclusion that restates your position. Sequencing phrases such as “To begin with,” “Moreover,” and “Furthermore” help signal the development of ideas, and the examples generally follow the claims they support. This gives the essay a coherent progression. At times, however, the links between ideas are somewhat mechanical, and some references are unclear—for example, “This happens because he have gained experience” does not clearly connect to a specific person or example. The second body paragraph also moves from law-breaking to well-being without fully explaining the relationship. Use more precise references and develop transitions that show how each example supports the central argument.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
You use enough topic-related vocabulary to communicate your ideas, including “responsibilities,” “viewpoints,” “rules and regulations,” and “negative effects.” There are also attempts at more formal phrasing, such as “take charge of their family.” However, word choice and spelling errors are noticeable and sometimes make the meaning less natural: “good well-being” is unclear, “grow in their career” is awkward, and “stubborn individuals” does not fit the example about becoming responsible. Several words are misspelled, including “cotemporary,” “completly,” and “behviour.” Aim for more accurate collocations and check spelling carefully; a more precise vocabulary range would make your arguments clearer and more convincing.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5
You attempt both simple and complex sentence forms, including clauses beginning with “as,” “when,” and “because,” and the overall meaning is usually understandable. However, errors in agreement, verb forms, articles, and sentence construction occur across the response. For example, “a stubborn individuals” has a singular/plural mismatch, while “a person who have committed” and “he have gained” need subject–verb agreement. In “However, they grow older,” the clause needs a linking structure such as “As they grow older.” These errors sometimes make the reader pause, even though your main points remain clear. Practise checking each sentence for a clear subject and correctly matched verb, while retaining your attempts at complex sentences.
