Student answer (Band 5.0)
it is very common for people to change their habits and opinions as they grow older. I strongly agree with that statment.
With the time people's priorites, responsibilities and life experiences will be changed.
One major reason why peoples habits change is that their responsibilities increase with age . When people are young , they have alot of time for social activities and participate in hobbies. When people beacome adults, they have alot of family responsibilities , careers and work burden.
For example a person used to play football everyday as a teenager, now they stop playing football because of busy schedule and pressure of work.
Life is the name of move on. people's opinions aslo changes with the time.
Young peoples have limited opinions about their life experience. And they also have limited information about life. When they work, meeting with new peoples they get new experience of life. Their narritives get the change by the time.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0
Your position is clear from the opening: “I strongly agree,” and you give relevant reasons, including increased responsibilities and gaining experience through work and meeting new people. The football example helps illustrate how a habit may change. However, the response addresses the task only partially because the ideas are brief and under-developed: the discussion of changing opinions is especially general, and “Their narratives get the change” does not explain what opinions might change or why. The response is 150 words, below the required 250-word minimum; the eight words copied from the prompt are excluded from that count. Develop both habits and opinions with fuller explanations and specific examples, and make the link to your position explicit throughout.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
There is some organisation: you begin with your opinion, discuss changing habits, and then move to changing opinions. The football example also follows the point about adult responsibilities. However, the overall progression is limited, and the short paragraphs do not develop a complete line of reasoning. Connections between ideas are sometimes unclear; for example, “Life is the name of move on” does not clearly lead into the point about opinions. Linking phrases such as “One major reason” help, but transitions are sparse and some references, such as “their” in “Their narratives,” are unclear. Use a clear paragraph for each main reason, then explain and illustrate each point before moving to the next.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use some relevant vocabulary for the topic, including “responsibilities,” “social activities,” “hobbies,” “careers,” and “experience.” These choices make the main ideas understandable. However, the range is limited and several noticeable spelling and word-choice errors make parts of the response difficult to interpret, such as “statment,” “priorites,” “beacome,” and “narritives.” Some phrases are also unnatural, including “with the time” and “work burden.” Aim for accurate, natural collocations and check spelling carefully. More precise language for changes in beliefs—such as how experience can “broaden” or “reshape” someone’s views—would help you explain the second part of the task more clearly.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You communicate your main position and use some longer sentence patterns, including “One major reason why … is that …” and a sentence beginning “When people are young.” However, the range remains limited, and errors occur frequently in sentence structure, verb forms, agreement, articles, and punctuation. For example, “people's priorites, responsibilities and life experiences will be changed” uses an awkward passive construction, while “people's opinions aslo changes” has an agreement error. The sentence “When people beacome adults, they have…” also needs more accurate control of its clause structure and punctuation. Practise forming accurate simple sentences first, then build longer sentences with subordinate clauses; proofread for apostrophes, sentence boundaries, and consistent verb forms.
