Student answer (Band 5.0)
It is undeniable fact that human being is a create who modifies positively according to the circumstances for his own good. It is debated and commonly discussed in masses that with the passage of time and while proceeding towards old age, individuals alter their opinions and habits. I largely agree with the statement as it has various reasons, which will be discussed at length in upcoming paragraphs.
The first and foremost reason is experience from different incidents happen in one's life. Although, some of them are just accidently performed by the person, still every situation left remark of learning. For Instance - many adults spend thier most of the time on social media that slowly it becomes their habit, as a result this has detrimental effect on their real life goal. However, some of them successful identifies and started working towards their objective. Therefore, change only come when an individual is stepping into an older stage of their life span and start realizing their responsibilties.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 4.0
You state a clear general position—“I largely agree”—and begin to support it with the idea that life experience can change people’s habits and priorities. However, the response addresses the task only partially: the example about social-media use is brief and its connection to getting older is not fully explained, while the effect of age on opinions is barely discussed. The final paragraph begins with “Another significant factor” but provides no supporting point, and there is no conclusion. The response is also 83 words below the required minimum, leaving too little space to develop reasons and relevant examples. To improve, explain how experience changes both habits and opinions, develop at least two examples, and complete the essay with a conclusion that restates your view.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 4.5
The response has an introduction followed by a paragraph that attempts to explain one reason, and phrases such as “The first and foremost reason” and “Therefore” show an effort to guide the reader. However, progression is incomplete: “Another significant factor” is left as a fragment of an argument, so the essay stops before developing its next point or reaching a conclusion. Some links are also unclear. For example, the social-media example moves from adults’ screen use to successful people pursuing objectives without explaining the relationship between these ideas. The long opening paragraph also combines several functions. Use one paragraph for each fully explained reason, make the links between examples and your position explicit, and add a concluding paragraph.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
You attempt a range of vocabulary, including “detrimental effect,” “circumstances,” and “responsibilities,” and these choices show an effort to discuss the topic beyond very basic terms. However, several expressions are inaccurate or unnatural, such as “human being is a create,” “discussed in masses,” and “left remark of learning.” Spelling errors, including “thier,” “accidently,” and “responsibilties,” also reduce accuracy. Some wording is unnecessarily elaborate, which makes the meaning less clear rather than more precise. Aim for natural collocations and check spelling carefully. For example, you could say that people “learn from life experiences,” that a topic is “widely discussed,” and that adults “recognise their responsibilities.”
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and more complex sentence forms, including a concession beginning “Although” and a cause-and-effect structure with “as a result.” However, complex sentences are often faulty, and errors sometimes make the intended meaning difficult to follow. Examples include “It is undeniable fact” (missing an article), “human being is a create” (incorrect sentence structure), and “change only come” (subject–verb agreement). In “many adults spend thier most of the time on social media that slowly it becomes their habit,” the clause structure is unclear and the verb forms do not fit together. Punctuation also needs attention, particularly the run-on around “goal.However.” Practise building shorter, accurate sentences first, then combine ideas using controlled subordinate clauses.
