Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0

You state a clear position—“i am fully agree”—and give reasons related to changing habits and opinions, including helping relatives and supporting others. These examples are relevant, but the explanation is limited and sometimes unclear: the discussion of watching television and reading newspapers does not clearly show how these activities represent a change in habits as people age. The final paragraph repeats benefits such as giving advice and solving problems rather than developing a distinct supporting point. The response also falls short of the required minimum: it contains 244 words, six words below 250, and 12 words copied from the task prompt were not counted. Develop each reason with a specific example and explain how it supports your view.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0

The response has a basic structure, with an introduction, two body paragraphs signalled by “firstly” and “secondly,” and a conclusion. This helps the reader identify the main sections. However, there is no clear progression within some paragraphs: ideas about news, sharing stories, family problems, and helping others are joined without showing how one leads to the next. The sentence “first public lives just own life but” is also disconnected from the surrounding point. Linking words such as “moreover” and “for example” are attempted, but connections are sometimes inaccurate or repetitive. Organise each body paragraph around one main reason, then use a clear example and explanation to develop it.

Lexical Resource: Band 4.5

You attempt vocabulary relevant to the topic, including “opinions,” “habits,” “currently,” “support,” and “generation.” However, the range is limited and several words or phrases are repeated, particularly “help,” “problem,” and “advice.” Frequent spelling errors—such as “diferent,” “undarstand,” “hebits,” and “benifets”—make parts of the response difficult to read. Some combinations are also unnatural, for example “change our thwrouth” and “good knowledge suggest student college.” Aim to use accurate, topic-specific phrases and check spelling carefully. More precise expressions for the changes people experience would help you explain your ideas without relying on repeated general words.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5

You use some simple sentences and attempt longer structures with connectors such as “because” or “for example,” but the range is limited and many sentences contain errors that make the meaning difficult to follow. Examples include “every one have thinking diferent” and “many people are change your opinions,” where verb forms and agreement are not controlled. Sentence boundaries and punctuation are also inconsistent, as in “first public lives just own life but. many public changing our thwrouth.” Capitalisation at the start of sentences is often missing. Practise building accurate subject–verb–object sentences first, then combine related ideas using a correctly formed clause. Proofread for verb forms, agreement, and sentence punctuation.
