Dear Sir or Madam,

I am writing to express my concern about the increasing amount of litter in the countryside closer to my house.

I have been walking to the countryside since my childhood. I enjoy walking there as while walking there I can see the beautiful view of the nature. Also, this area provides me a peace of mind as this place is very quiet. Therefore, whenever I feel tired, I prefer to walk in the countryside which makes me happy.

From last month, I am noticing that the amount of litter in the countryside has been significantly increased. I have seen a number of debris while walking. This includes, plastic wrappers, food waste and even yesterday I saw a large garbage bag which was full of litter. It seemed like someone kept their home garbage in that bag and later through it on the road.

I believe that city council should take some important steps to prevent citizens from this problem. For example, they can display the signs which show no litter policy all around the countryside. Also, town council can install cameras in the countryside to keep an eye on the people. Moreover, people should be fined if they create litter in the countryside. I hope that these solution will help in reducing litter.
