Dear Sir,

I am writing to inform you about the heeps of wastage which is thrown by people on the pathways. I went to the countryside on the daily bases as doctor adviced me to take a walk because i have serious high blood pressure problem as i am retired and spend most of the time at my home.

As usual, yesterday we both me and my wife went overthere and the situation of the place is just getting so much worst as there were plastic bags moving in the mid of the road and there were heeps of disposable plates and glases in the side ways . I just felt so bad about the flowers of the garden where people split on the blooming flowers which was so bad thing because it was ruining the beauty of the nature. additionally , environment pollution is caused by these deeds .

I would like to suggest that this report should be published in the newspaper so that govenment can pay attension towards this problem as well as public can get awareness about this serious problem which need to tackle promptly otherwise this place will merely become a wastage garbage spot.

I hope you will act upon my complaint.

Thankyou

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0

You address all three points: you explain that walking is part of your daily routine on your doctor’s advice, describe plastic bags, disposable plates and glasses, and propose newspaper coverage to raise awareness and prompt action. The letter’s purpose is clear, and the closing is appropriate. However, the reason you enjoy walking and the location are only partly developed: you mention the countryside and your health, but do not identify a particular route or explain what you value about the walk itself. The proposed response is also somewhat general; you could suggest specific measures, such as bins, signs, or fines, alongside publicity. Developing these points more fully would make the response more complete and persuasive.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0

The response has a recognisable letter structure, with an opening, a paragraph describing the problem, a paragraph proposing action, and a closing. The sequence from your routine to the litter and then to a solution is generally easy to follow. Some links between ideas are less clear, however. For example, “As usual, yesterday we both me and my wife went overthere” is awkwardly organised, and the shift from litter to people damaging flowers and then to pollution feels abrupt. “Additionally” signals a further point, but its punctuation and placement interrupt the flow. Use clearer paragraphing and simpler transitions to show how each detail supports your complaint, and make references such as “this report” and “this problem” more precise.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use relevant vocabulary to describe the issue, including “plastic bags,” “disposable plates,” “blooming flowers,” and “environment pollution.” These choices make the subject clear, and you attempt more formal expressions such as “pay attention” and “tackle promptly.” However, several inaccurate or unnatural choices reduce precision: “heeps of wastage,” “on the daily bases,” “split on the blooming flowers,” and “wastage garbage spot” are difficult or awkward expressions. Spelling errors such as “govenment,” “attension,” and “Thankyou” are also noticeable. Build a more reliable range of collocations for litter and public action, and check spelling and word forms carefully so your meaning is expressed naturally.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple and more extended sentences, including a reason clause in “because I have serious high blood pressure” and a conditional structure beginning “otherwise.” The main message remains understandable, but grammatical control is uneven. For example, “I went to the countryside on the daily bases as doctor adviced me” has problems with articles and verb forms, while “the situation … is just getting so much worst” uses an incorrect comparative form. The sentence beginning “I just felt so bad” also becomes difficult to follow because several ideas are joined without clear structure. Pay particular attention to articles, past-tense forms, and sentence boundaries; separating long sentences would help you communicate your ideas more accurately.
