Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
The letter addresses all three required points: you explain that the park is close to home and that you walk there for exercise, describe visitors leaving rubbish, and ask the newspaper to raise the issue and mention fines. These ideas are relevant and the reader can understand your purpose. However, some points are less fully developed than others. The litter description is general—“the trash (garbage)”—and would be clearer with examples such as bottles, food wrappers, or bags. The proposed response could also be more specific about how the newspaper or park management might help, for example by publicising rules or adding bins. A clearer explanation of why the countryside walk matters to you would strengthen the letter.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The information is arranged in a generally sensible order: you introduce the concern, describe your connection to the park, explain the litter problem, and make a request. Paragraph breaks help distinguish these stages, and the purpose of the letter remains understandable. Some links between ideas are awkward or unclear, however. For instance, “As, it,s a long trail of 2 km, but…” combines contrasting structures, while “As its difficult for the management…” does not clearly connect to the preceding point. The final request also moves quickly from the problem to fines. Use straightforward transitions such as “Recently,” “As a result,” and “I would therefore suggest” to make the progression smoother and the relationships between ideas clearer.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use enough topic-related vocabulary to communicate the main issue, including “trail,” “physical activity,” “management,” and “fine.” There are also attempts to describe the park as a popular place. However, the range is limited and several choices or spellings make the letter less natural, such as “hot destination,” “left the trash into the site,” and “current situation.” Some words are repeated, particularly “park” and “trash,” and the parenthetical “trash (garbage)” does not add much precision. Choose more exact terms for the rubbish and use natural collocations. For example, visitors may “leave litter along the trail,” and the newspaper could report on the “growing litter problem.” Proofreading spelling would also improve clarity.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
The letter includes both simple statements and attempts at longer sentences, such as the sentence beginning “As, it,s a long trail of 2 km.” This shows an effort to connect ideas, but some complex constructions are not controlled, and errors occur in sentence boundaries, verb forms, articles, and punctuation. For example, “I usually go every evening for walk” needs an article, while “visitors … enjoy here and after that just left” shifts tense and lacks a clear grammatical structure. The opening also runs sentences together: “I am Kamal Singh.I currently live…” Aim for a reliable mix of accurate simple sentences and carefully formed complex ones. Check tense consistency, sentence boundaries, and punctuation before submitting.
