To begin with, There is a beautiful park in the countryside area near to my home, whenever I get time I go for a walk daily. There is plenty of tree and flowers there so I enjoy the fresh air and fragnance of the fresh flowers. It makes me fresh and energetic whole day thats why I like it most.

The one thing that makes me wondering is that people just through their litter on the side walk and sometimes in the cetre of park that looks so dirty.

The muncipal corporation is doing thier job but its also the responsibility of the people to make the park neat and clean. Kindly, post this issue in the newspaper so that people will understand the problem and keep the park neat and clean.

Yours faithfully,

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5

The letter addresses all three required points: you explain that you walk near your home and enjoy the trees, flowers, and fresh air; describe litter being left along the path and in the park; and ask the newspaper to publicise the issue. These details make the response relevant, but the ideas are only partly developed. The litter description does not identify what kinds of rubbish you have seen, and the proposed action is mainly to publish the issue and remind people to keep the park clean. You could make the response more complete by giving specific examples of litter and suggesting practical measures, such as more bins, signs, or enforcement. The purpose is clear, though the opening could state the concern more directly.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5

The response has a recognisable letter structure, with an opening, separate paragraphs for the setting and the problem, and a closing request. This helps the reader follow the main points. However, progression is somewhat mechanical: “To begin with” introduces the description, while “The one thing” and “The municipal corporation” move to later points without clearly linking them. Some information is repeated, particularly that you walk daily and enjoy the park. The sentence beginning “There is a beautiful park…” also joins several ideas in a way that makes the relationship between them less clear. Use clearer links between the setting, the litter problem, and your proposed solutions, and keep each paragraph focused on one purpose.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use enough vocabulary to communicate the main topic, including “countryside,” “fresh air,” “litter,” and “community.” There are also attempts at more descriptive language, such as “fragrance of the fresh flowers” and “neat and clean.” However, the range is limited and some word choices or spellings are noticeably inaccurate, which can distract the reader. For example, “through their litter” appears to mean “throw their litter,” and “side walk” and “centre” are not used or spelled consistently with the intended context. “Makes me wondering” is also an unnatural phrase. Aim for precise, natural collocations and check spelling; naming specific rubbish, such as plastic bottles or food wrappers, would also make the description more exact.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

The letter uses mostly simple sentence patterns, with some attempts to combine ideas using clauses, as in “There is a beautiful park… whenever I get time I go for a walk daily.” These longer constructions are not consistently controlled, and several errors make the writing less smooth. For example, “I Parveen saini living” lacks a finite verb, “There is plenty of tree and flowers” has an agreement and plural problem, and “thats why I like it most” needs an apostrophe and clearer sentence punctuation. Capitalisation after “To begin with” is also inconsistent. Practise accurate basic sentence forms first, then build longer sentences with clear clause boundaries and correct subject–verb agreement.
