Dear Sir,
I am writing this letter to give you an information about the litter kept by people nearby my home. The waste is increasing each day, which is too much disturbance to the public.
I enjoy walking through the countryside. It is very stress relief and it makes me more happier. Moreover, the greenery also the best part of the journey I enjoy most. But,nowadays many people are keeping their rubbish near to the walkway which makes the way dirty and a barrier to the people who walk through.
I have seen lots of water bottles and water cans which is shattered on the floor.Furthermore, many people kept their sanitary napkins near to the bench which is even worse.I found that the number of bottles and cans are increasing.there is no change in the situation till today.
I really concerned about the current situation as I am a person who daily walk through the place.Hence,I am requesting you to make an editorial about this issue as soon as possible.I believe that,It will be helpful to stop dumping of waste.
I believe that you will take this issue in mind and do the necessary move as soon as possible.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0
You address the main situation and include all three requested areas: you explain that you enjoy the countryside and its greenery, describe bottles, cans and sanitary napkins, and ask the newspaper to publish an editorial. However, the purpose and position are not always clear: the opening says you are giving “an information,” while the request for an editorial appears only near the end. The reasons for enjoying the walks are brief, and the proposed response is limited to publicity; you could make the letter more complete by suggesting practical measures such as bins, signs, or regular clean-ups. Develop these points and state your request clearly from the outset so the reader understands both the problem and the action you want.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The letter has a coherent overall arrangement: it introduces the issue, explains your enjoyment of the walks, gives examples of litter, and ends with a request. Paragraphing helps distinguish these points, and connectors such as “Moreover,” “Furthermore,” and “Hence” show how ideas relate. At times, however, the links feel mechanical or the reference is unclear. For example, “there is no change in the situation till today” follows the litter examples without clearly explaining what change you expected, and “But, nowadays” interrupts the flow between your positive description and the problem. Use fewer, more natural transitions and connect each paragraph directly to the letter’s purpose. A conventional closing would also make the ending feel more complete.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use enough topic-related vocabulary to communicate the issue, including “countryside,” “walkway,” “rubbish,” “water bottles,” and “sanitary napkins.” There are also attempts to express more specific ideas, such as “a barrier to the people.” However, several noticeable word-choice and collocation errors make parts of the letter awkward or unclear: “give you an information,” “very stress relief,” “keeping their rubbish,” and “shattered on the floor.” Some expressions are also repetitive, particularly “as soon as possible.” Aim for natural combinations and precise descriptions—for example, say that litter is “left along the path” and that bottles are “scattered on the ground.” Proofreading spelling and spacing will further improve the clarity and presentation.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and more extended sentence forms, including sentences beginning with “Moreover” and “which,” and the main message is generally understandable. However, errors occur frequently across sentence structures, verb forms, agreement, articles, and punctuation. Examples include “It is very stress relief,” “it makes me more happier,” “many people kept their sanitary napkins,” and “I really concerned,” where the sentence needs a verb. There are also run-on or poorly punctuated sentences, such as “The waste is increasing each day, which is too much disturbance to the public.” Practise building accurate clauses first, then combine them with relative clauses and connectors. Check tense consistency, sentence boundaries, and capitalisation, especially in “there” and “It.”
