Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
You address all three points: you explain that you walk in the nearby park for fresh air and exercise, describe food packets, cans, bottles and fruit remains, and propose fines and an awareness seminar. The problem and your concern are clear, so the letter is relevant and purposeful. Some parts are less fully developed: the location is described only as a park beside your home, and the proposed fine and seminar would be more convincing if you explained who should enforce them or how the seminar could reach walkers. The health and pollution effects are relevant, but could be linked more clearly to the specific litter. A more precise account of the walking area and practical measures would make the response more complete.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The letter follows a generally understandable order: you introduce your concern, describe the park and its litter, then make recommendations. The opening and closing also help identify it as a letter. However, the ideas are crowded into long paragraphs, and the progression within them is sometimes difficult to follow. For example, the sentence beginning “In that area there are different paths” combines the litter list with two consequences without clear separation. Linking phrases such as “Beside my home” and “In that area” provide some connections, but references such as “it” in “it is my daily rountine” are not always clear. Use separate paragraphs for the reason for writing, the description, and the suggestions, and divide long sentences to make the sequence easier to follow.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use relevant vocabulary for the topic, including “processed foods,” “cans,” “bottles,” “air pollution,” and “rules and regulations.” These choices make the main issue understandable. However, the range and control are limited by repeated or inaccurate expressions, including “large amount of garbages,” “walking aera,” and “higher authority.” Several spelling errors, such as “dissppointing,” “knowlegde,” and “enivornment,” also make the writing less polished. Some combinations are unnatural: “getting a fresh air” and “take strict action towards it” do not sound idiomatic. Build a bank of accurate phrases for describing litter and requesting local action, and check spelling and word forms carefully before submitting.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and more extended sentence forms, including a sentence that connects litter with its effects using “which.” However, many sentences contain errors in verb forms, agreement, articles, and sentence boundaries. For example, “which is effect the beauty” needs a correctly formed verb, while “which is not only create health problem” has problems with both the verb pattern and singular/plural agreement. The sentence beginning “Beside my home” also joins several ideas without clear punctuation, making its structure hard to follow. These errors sometimes make the reader pause, although the overall message remains understandable. Practise building accurate sentences with one main clause and a subordinate clause, and check subject–verb agreement, articles, and punctuation.
