Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 3.0

You attempt to address the three requested points: you mention walking for fitness and relaxation, identify a park near your home, and refer to litter left by other walkers. However, the description of the rubbish is missing, and the proposed solution is not actually explained; “Some people should avoid walking” is not a practical response to littering. The purpose of writing to the newspaper is also unclear, and the opening does not clearly state your concern. The response is 139 words, so it is 11 words below the required minimum; this limits the space available to develop the task. To improve, describe specific items of litter and suggest realistic measures, such as bins, signs, or a public awareness campaign.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 3.0

There is a basic attempt to organise the letter: you begin with an opening, discuss walking, then mention litter, and finish with a sign-off. Some links are present, including “However” and “because.” However, the ideas do not progress clearly. For example, the sentence about people being busy and stressed interrupts the description of the park, while “they create some problem” does not clearly connect to a specific action or consequence. The litter and possible solutions are also not separated or developed into a clear sequence. Use distinct paragraphs for your reason for writing, your observations, and your suggestions, and make each sentence build on the previous one.

Lexical Resource: Band 4.5

You use some relevant vocabulary for the topic, including “countryside,” “physicaly active,” “litter,” and “peaceful environment,” so the general subject can be understood. However, the range is limited and several expressions are repeated, particularly “walking in the countryside near my home.” Some word choices and spelling errors make the message less natural, such as “do execerices,” “daily activevities,” and “some relx.” The phrase “create some problem” is also vague and does not specify the effect of litter. Build a more precise set of words for describing rubbish and solutions, and check spelling and collocations. For example, name the items you see rather than referring to litter only in general terms.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5

You attempt to communicate using both short statements and longer sentences, but control of sentence structure and verb forms is inconsistent. The opening, “I hope are you well I am writting to you letter inform…,” combines clauses without correct word order or punctuation. Present continuous forms such as “I am walking everyday” and “I am noticing” are used where the simple present would normally describe habits or ongoing observations. There are also errors with articles and agreement, as in “It is very big and beautiful park” and “they keep me physicaly active.” These problems sometimes make relationships between ideas difficult to follow. Practise forming complete sentences, using appropriate present tenses, and checking articles and punctuation.
