Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0

You address all three points: you explain that you enjoy walking near your home, describe plastic bags, newspapers and empty water bottles, and suggest installing bins. The examples make the litter problem clear, and the request for the newspaper to draw attention to it suits the purpose of the letter. However, the enjoyment and location are only briefly stated, and the proposed solution is not developed—for example, you could explain where bins should be placed or suggest regular checks and public reminders. The opening also spends space on a general introduction rather than quickly establishing the specific concern. Developing these ideas more fully would make the response more complete and persuasive.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0

The information follows a generally sensible order: you introduce the issue, describe what you have seen, propose bins, and close with a request. This makes the letter understandable overall. However, nearly all the content is presented in one long paragraph, so the different purposes are not clearly separated. Some links are also repetitive or unclear, such as repeating “this area” and moving from the litter description to the suggestion without a clear transition. Use separate paragraphs for your reason for writing, the problem and its effects, and your proposed action. More precise linking phrases would help show how the litter affects walkers and why your suggested measures would help.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.5

You use relevant vocabulary to describe the issue, including “plastic bags,” “empty water bottles,” “pathway,” and “dust bins,” so the reader can understand the main concern. There are also attempts at more formal expressions, such as “concerned authorities” and “pay special attention.” However, spelling and word-choice errors are noticeable, including “surroudings,” “platstic,” “newpapers,” and “greatful.” Some phrases are unnatural or imprecise, such as “so many litter” and “have some good time walking.” Choose natural collocations and check spelling carefully; this would make the letter sound more fluent and appropriately formal without changing its clear message.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5

You attempt both simple and more complex sentence forms, and the main meaning is generally clear. For example, the sentence explaining that litter is “causing great difficulty” connects the problem with its effect. Some grammatical errors remain, however. In “i reason i am writing,” the clause is not formed correctly; “the reason I am writing is…” would be clearer. The suggestion “authorities may instructed to install” needs a correct verb form, such as “authorities should be asked to install.” There are also issues with articles, plurals and sentence boundaries, including “so many litter” and the long run-on sequence of ideas. Review verb forms and divide long sentences to improve accuracy.
