Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0

You address all three points: you explain that you walk near your home and enjoy the greenery and outdoor activities, describe plastic bottles and snack wrappers, and propose cameras and penalties. The purpose of writing to the newspaper is clear, and the example of seeing someone discard a bag makes the concern relevant. However, some parts are less fully developed than others. The location is named as “Nehru park,” but the countryside setting could be described more clearly, and the proposed actions need explanation—for example, how signs or penalties would be enforced. A clearer account of the litter’s effects would also strengthen the complaint. Overall, the main ideas are relevant, though some remain brief or unclear.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0

The letter has a recognisable structure, moving from the reason for writing to your walking experience, the litter, and possible solutions. This gives the reader an overall sense of progression, and phrases such as “After done from my work” and “So” signal changes in the message. However, most of the information is packed into one long middle paragraph, so the description of the problem and the suggestions are not clearly separated. Some links are mechanical or unclear, such as “yestrday” introducing the example without a smooth connection to the preceding sentence. Use separate paragraphs for your enjoyment of the area, the litter problem, and proposed action, and connect each idea with clearer references.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use enough topic-related vocabulary to communicate the main concern, including “countryside,” “plastic botels,” “chips wrap,” “cameras,” and “penality.” There are also attempts to describe the setting with “greenry atmosphere” and to express your reaction to the litter. However, spelling errors and imprecise or unnatural word combinations are noticeable and sometimes make the reader pause: “garbage through by walkers,” “chips wrap,” and “feel relax” do not express the intended meanings naturally. The range is also somewhat repetitive, with “area” and “problem” used broadly. Build accuracy by learning common collocations such as “litter left by walkers,” “plastic bottles and crisp packets,” and “feel relaxed,” and check spelling before submitting.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple and more extended sentence forms, including a sentence explaining why you enjoy the park and another describing what you witnessed. The main message is generally understandable, but grammatical errors occur across the response. For example, “After done from my work” lacks a correctly formed time clause, while “there are lot of garbage I noticed” combines an incorrect quantity structure with an awkward tense pattern. In “this things create,” the demonstrative and noun do not agree, and several sentences run together without appropriate punctuation. Practise forming clauses such as “After I finish work, I go…” and checking articles, agreement, verb forms, and sentence boundaries. More accurate control of these patterns would make your ideas easier to follow.
