Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0

You address all three points: you explain that you enjoy the countryside for its peaceful setting and morning walks, describe items such as toilet paper and food waste, and propose enforcement and changes to rubbish collection. The purpose of writing to the newspaper is clear. However, some ideas are less fully developed or unclear. For example, “this is the only place where people enjoy walking” does not clearly explain where you walk, and the suggestions about instructing collection staff and doubling a fee need clarification about who would pay and how this would reduce litter. Add a specific location and explain how each proposed measure would work to make the letter more complete and persuasive.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0

The letter has a coherent overall arrangement: it introduces the problem, gives reasons for enjoying the area, describes the rubbish, and then offers solutions. Separate paragraphs help the reader follow these main points, and the closing is appropriate. Some connections and references are not always clear, however. In “This made disgusting for walking and also who live near by areas,” it is difficult to identify exactly what “this” refers to and how the effect on residents relates to the sentence. The suggestions also move quickly from rules to collection staff and fees without explaining the links. Use clearer transitions and make each paragraph develop one connected point, with explicit references to the people or actions involved.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use enough vocabulary to communicate the main topic, including specific examples such as “toilet paper,” “open food,” and “wet foods,” as well as “peaceful place.” However, word choice, collocation, and spelling errors sometimes make the message difficult to understand. Phrases such as “made a sting,” “made disconfort,” and “garbage picker employee” are not natural or precise in this context; “open food” is also unclear. There are noticeable spelling errors, including “writting,” “fro,” and “opned.” Build a more accurate range of vocabulary for litter and its effects, and check spelling and collocations so your meaning is consistently clear.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple sentences and longer structures, including the relative clause in “a peaceful place, which is best fro morning walk.” The overall message can be followed, but errors in verb forms, sentence construction, articles, and agreement occur in several places. For example, “I would like to walking” should use an infinitive, while “This made disgusting” is missing a grammatical complement. The opening clause “more and more litter were left” also has an agreement and passive-form problem. Some sentence boundaries and punctuation, such as the lowercase “litter” after a full stop, need attention. Practise accurate basic sentence patterns first, then use complex clauses with careful checking.
