Student answer (Band 5.5)
International sports like football and olympics play an important role in bringing different mations closer and ome of the important factor in international relationships.
Spors diplomacy is one of the crucial factor in international relations. it play very important role in bonding different nations and countries. Recently FIFI world cup was organized in Qatar, the arab country located in middle east. large number of people visisted Qatar from different part of world to enjoy the match of football worldcup. Qatar warmly welcomed all the different nationalities. Many countries and people were thinking that Qatar is a conservative state before visiting, but after this football worldcup, their opinion has been chnaged about Qatar. Another example is Crciket matches between Oakistan and India. These two countries have always conflicts since lojg time. Many wars also occured due to different serious conflicts, but the only thins which some time brings these two countries togather is the cricket sports. People of both countries alwas commect through this sport and enjoy the common culture regardless of the conflicts between the two states.
But yes some time it can creates an environment of competetion instead of good relationships and people frombith sides take the extreme position to win, if one team looses the supporters of other team start fighting, which some time happens during footbal match between France and Germany.
But in my opinion sports are good way to bring countries togather

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
You address both views and give a clear, if brief, opinion that international sport generally brings countries together. The Qatar World Cup and India–Pakistan cricket examples are relevant and help explain how contact through sport can challenge assumptions and create shared enjoyment. You also acknowledge that supporters may become hostile when teams compete. However, the opposing view is only briefly stated, and the France–Germany example is not developed to show how competition damages relations between countries. Your conclusion repeats your position without explaining why it outweighs the risks. The response is also 14 words below the required minimum. Develop both sides more evenly and add explanation to support your final judgement.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The response has a basic overall structure: it introduces the topic, gives examples supporting international friendship, turns to the risks of competition, and ends with your opinion. The transition “But yes” signals the change in viewpoint, and examples generally follow the ideas they illustrate. However, the first two paragraphs overlap in purpose, while the final paragraph is only a short statement, so the discussion does not progress to a fully developed conclusion. Some links between sentences are unclear, and the long paragraph about Qatar and cricket contains several separate points without clear internal organisation. Use distinct paragraphs for each view and a conclusion, and connect each example explicitly to the claim it supports.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use some relevant topic vocabulary, including “sports diplomacy,” “international relationships,” “nationalities,” and “conservative state,” which helps communicate the subject. The range is nevertheless limited and several expressions are repeated, particularly “countries,” “people,” and “bring … together.” There are also noticeable spelling and word-choice errors, such as “mations,” “FIFI,” “Oakistan,” and “commect,” which can distract the reader or make details difficult to follow. Some phrases are imprecise or unnatural, including “the only thins which some time brings” and “take the extreme position.” Build a more accurate range for describing cooperation, rivalry, and public reactions, and proofread spelling carefully.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and longer sentence forms, including sentences with “but” and “which,” and the main ideas can usually be understood. However, grammatical errors are frequent and sometimes make relationships between ideas harder to follow. Examples include “it play very important role,” “some time it can creates,” and “the only thins … brings,” where subject–verb agreement and verb forms are not controlled. Articles and plurals are also inconsistent, as in “a conservative state” alongside “different part of world.” Sentence boundaries and capitalisation need attention, particularly the lowercase “it” after a full stop and the long sentence beginning “Many wars also occured.” Practise accurate basic clauses before extending them with subordinate clauses.
