Student answer (Band 5.0)

While there is a ongoing debate on International sports events named as The Olympics or the Footbal World Cup are a greater way to bring countries togehter and on others prespective they believe that these events create competition between countries insted of friendship.

To commence with that statement i would like to shed on some positive views while on the other hand it also comes up with a little negitive aspects. However The Olympics and Football World cup has a vetal contribution each and every years with sports events. They have given an opprtunity to all around world countries to make a part of the sports event. According to my opinon with these events unaccountable people's recive an event to meet with diffrent types of individuals with diffrent languages along with their native language.

Apart from this, there is a numrious people from another field take this events as a competition not like a cheers day. They also losse an period to gain knowleadge about other cultures and to enhance friendship criteria. Some people's judge others by theirs skin colors which is not good if you are a good sportsman.

To eleborate this topic according to my opinion everyone should collaborate with each other while your are in a ground, because being a good sportsman is your first priorty. Furthermore, government suppose to create well organized gaming arrangments so that each and every person who is becoming a part of the events can mixup with other countries players. For example, if organization held a rehersal before the began of the events so players can have time to know each other's, so that they can make friends.

To conclude this, Good way to bring counties to in a one pot goverment should make standard reharsal games so that events should not taken as a competition.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0

The response addresses both views regarding whether international sports events bring countries together or create competition, and includes a personal opinion. However, the development of ideas is limited and somewhat repetitive. For instance, the writer mentions that events provide an opportunity to meet individuals with different languages, but this point is not fully extended. Similarly, the discussion on discrimination ("Some people's judge others by theirs skin colors") shifts abruptly without strong integration into the core debate. The position is stated but lacks robust support throughout. Based on these limitations, the response fits the Band 5 descriptors where ideas are present but under-developed and the position is not always clearly sustained.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0

Paragraphing is attempted, with distinct sections for the introduction, body points, and conclusion; however, the logical progression within paragraphs is frequently disrupted. Cohesive devices are used awkwardly or repetitively, such as "To commence with that statement", "Apart from this, there is a numrious people", and "To eleborate this topic". Referencing is sometimes unclear, making it difficult to follow the flow of arguments. For example, the transition between cultural exchange and skin color prejudice lacks smooth connection. This pattern of mechanical and sometimes inadequate cohesion aligns well with a Band 5 score.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

The vocabulary used is generally basic and repetitive, with numerous spelling and word-choice errors that occasionally strain the reader's understanding. Examples of errors include "Footbal", "togehter", "insted", "vetal", "opprtunity", "recive", "numrious", "losse", "knowleadge", "eleborate", and "rehersal". While the writer attempts less common phrases such as "enhance friendship criteria" and "well organized gaming arrangments", these expressions contain unnatural collocations. The lexical range is minimally adequate for addressing the topic, but frequent inaccuracies place it firmly at Band 5.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

The writer attempts a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but frequent grammatical errors occur throughout the text. There are persistent issues with subject-verb agreement, article usage, preposition selection, and sentence boundaries. Examples include "While there is a ongoing debate... are a greater way", "uncountable people's recive an event", "take this events as a competition", and "government suppose to create". Punctuation is also problematic, notably with missing spaces after commas and run-on phrasing. Due to the high frequency of errors that cause some difficulty for the reader, this performance corresponds to a Band 5.
