Most of the people think that and aslo believe on it that international sports events, such as The Olympics or the football world cup, these are all good way to bring countries together.

And most of the people think that these sports create competition between the countries not they make friendship between them .

But it is very important for the countires to bring together as in any sport

its makes a competition between the countries but aslo it makes freindship between them

At the time of sport they all are aggaints with one an other they all want to win the game

But when we look at the other side of the games they also have a friends circle with one an other

The players never jelous form one an other they just play for their country name not for their own name if a player play well for a country it is aslo too much

good for his own name

most of the people think that these event create just a competition the conpetition is just between the game those who play well the win and got a prize

but the relation between countries never be change

Now look at such a countries those are enemy of one and other

such as their relation is already too much bad

they do not have any relationship with one another

Such as INDIA and PAKISTAN

if these countries play with one another in any kind of games it will become a competition between them and aslo a hard competioton between eachother beacuse their relation with each other is already

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0

The response addresses both views presented in the prompt: that sports bring countries together and that they create competition rather than friendship. The student also attempts to offer a personal opinion, touching upon the example of India and Pakistan. However, the ideas are repetitive and underdeveloped, with frequent over-generalisation. The argument lacks clear progression and depth, and the abrupt ending leaves the discussion incomplete. This aligns with Band 5, where the task is addressed only partially and ideas remain limited and under-developed.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 4.0

The text lacks standard paragraphing, consisting instead of a series of broken, single-sentence lines that resemble a list rather than an essay. There is no clear overall progression of ideas, and cohesive devices are virtually absent or used inaccurately, such as the repeated use of 'and aslo', 'such as', and 'but'. Reference words are frequently unclear or repetitive, causing the text to feel disjointed. These features correspond to Band 4, where information and ideas are not arranged coherently and paragraphing is absent.

Lexical Resource: Band 4.0

The vocabulary used is basic and highly repetitive, with frequent reliance on simple words such as 'people', 'countries', 'sport', and 'game'. There are noticeable errors in word choice and collocation, including phrases like 'aggaints with one an other', 'friends circle', and 'jelous form one an other'. Spelling and grammatical forms of words are also problematic, for example 'competioton' and 'freindship'. This reflects Band 4 lexical control, where vocabulary is basic and repetitive, and errors strain the reader's understanding.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.0

The essay displays a very limited range of grammatical structures, relying heavily on basic, repetitive clauses linked by coordinating conjunctions like 'and' or 'but'. There are frequent and systematic errors in punctuation, capitalization, and sentence boundaries, such as run-on sentences and sentence fragments ('such as INDIA and PAKISTAN'). Subject-verb agreement and prepositional use are also frequently flawed, as seen in 'the relation between countries never be change'. These persistent errors cause significant difficulty for the reader, placing the response firmly at Band 4.
