Student answer (Band 5.0)

The role of gobal sports event and international relation of countries it's a big debate. People argue with tranpracy of these organization those arrange this type of big events. In this essay we will exmine the both point either it's way to bring good realtion inbetween the countries or it's create a big competition in countries.

On one hand the organizations make a point that they bring the countries togather by arranging this type of event's but in reality is different in all because many time they get involve to get pressure by a entity to give favour to particular country. Like Olympics in 1992 they said that they bring and the afican nation's togather they did that and clashes in South Africa and Kenya not remain after that event. When athletes came from all over the world and they share experience with each other in this way global community shared their culture. Like Football world cup hosted by South kora and Japan cause to lift tension's in these countries.

On other hand event creates competition rather then friendship is totally different thing beacuse it's the sports we can't take it personally. And that event everyone supports to own country and own athelte and when someone won there their country flag stand in all other's it's great pride for them who won in it. On other hand as i explain above now in this era these event's all doing lobbying of spacific countries that is not fair.

From my opnion they risk of having competition inbetween the different countries is good approach beacuse of these event's we not need to take in negative sense. If you lose in not take it more do more struggle on it and next win it. And that sense not to convert game field in battle field.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0

You address both views and give a personal position: you suggest that international events can bring people together, while competition should not be treated negatively. The examples of athletes sharing cultures and the World Cup hosted by South Korea and Japan are relevant. However, the discussion is only partially developed. The first view is difficult to follow in places, and the claim about the 1992 Olympics and African nations is not clearly explained or supported. The opposing view is also asserted rather than explored: saying that supporters back their own country does not fully show how this creates competition between countries. Make your opinion explicit earlier and explain each example’s connection to the task more clearly.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5

The response has a recognisable structure, with an introduction, separate paragraphs for the two views, and a concluding opinion. Linking phrases such as “On one hand,” “On other hand,” and “From my opinion” help signal the direction of the discussion. However, progression within paragraphs is uneven, and some connections are unclear. For example, the move from the 1992 Olympics to clashes in South Africa and Kenya is hard to follow, while “On other hand” is repeated and sometimes introduces a point that does not clearly contrast with the previous one. Use topic sentences that state each paragraph’s main claim, then connect examples directly to that claim. Clearer referencing would also help readers follow the argument.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You attempt vocabulary suited to the topic, including “international relation,” “global community,” “lobbying,” and “competition.” These choices show an effort to discuss international effects rather than relying only on very basic terms. However, spelling errors and inaccurate word choices are frequent enough to make some phrases difficult to understand, as in “gobal,” “tranpracy,” “exmine,” and “athelte.” Some expressions are also unnatural or imprecise, such as “the risk of having competition” and “their country flag stand in all other's.” Build accuracy with common collocations and check spelling carefully. More precise terms such as “diplomatic relations,” “host nation,” and “national pride” would help express your ideas clearly.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5

You use both simple statements and attempts at longer sentences, including clauses introduced by “because” and “when.” This gives you some variety, but complex sentences are often faulty, and frequent errors can make the reader work to understand the meaning. For example, “The role … it's a big debate” has an unclear sentence structure, while “If you lose in not take it more do more struggle on it” does not form a clear conditional sentence. There are also recurring problems with articles, agreement, and sentence boundaries, as in “that event everyone supports to own country.” Practise building accurate subject–verb–object sentences first, then add one subordinate clause at a time and check punctuation.
