Student answer (Band 5.0)
Some individuals think that international sports events, like the world cup or the olympic are excellent methods to join the other countries each other. On the other side, people think that these events makes the emenies in the relationship between two countries. This essay explained the both views of the notion and my personal veiw in the upcoming paragraphs.
To begin with, sports are cruical part of every country and every year country are held the international events or the matches for different kind of games. It is not only for win-win situation but also make the strong bond with other counties. For instance, two team are playing the match of football for opposite nations then they are learning challenges and way of playing which is important impact on the teamwork. In addition, it gives chance to make the records on the other country. this is good opportunity to make the history and show the talent on front of other auditions.
Neverthless, the challenges and competitions are increasing day by day in every field. Sometimes events create no friendships between countries. For example, FIFA world cup which is recently passed, this lot of countries are participated in this event for tropy and price. In this famous two sporters are Messi and ronald are playing both are playing in the front from many years but, in this teams are cheating and ronald out from the match which failer for that person. This kind of this things are break the bond of two countries.
In conclusion, Both view are good of the situations of the competitions. However my veiwpoint is that international sports events aare great way to bring countries together. It is also good for country finanical.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0
You address both sides of the discussion and state your preference in the conclusion: international events are “a great way to bring countries together.” The first body paragraph gives a relevant idea about teams learning from one another, while the second attempts to explain how competition can damage relations. However, the discussion is only partially developed. The examples about “making records” and the Messi/Ronaldo match are unclear, and the claim that teams are cheating does not clearly show how this creates conflict between countries. Your position is also not explained with reasons in the conclusion. Develop each view with a clear, relevant example and explain how it supports your point.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The response has a recognisable structure: an introduction, separate paragraphs for the two views, and a conclusion. Transitions such as “To begin with,” “Nevertheless,” and “In conclusion” help signal the stages of the discussion. This gives the essay an overall coherent arrangement. However, progression within paragraphs is sometimes difficult to follow, particularly in the World Cup example, where the references to players, teams cheating, and a player being out are not clearly connected. Some linking phrases are also mechanical, and “this” in “this is good opportunity” has an unclear reference. Use clearer topic sentences, connect each example directly to the point it illustrates, and make references explicit.
Lexical Resource: Band 4.5
You attempt vocabulary relevant to the topic, including “international sports events,” “competition,” “strong bond,” and “teamwork.” These choices show an effort to discuss both cooperation and rivalry. However, the range is limited, and frequent spelling, word-form, and collocation problems make some ideas difficult to understand. Examples include “emenies,” “cruical,” “tropy,” and “price,” as well as “join the other countries each other” and “make the history.” Some expressions are repeated or imprecise, such as “good” and “this kind of this things.” Build a more accurate set of topic-specific phrases and check spelling and natural word combinations before submitting.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5
You use both short statements and attempts at longer sentences, including a conditional-style example beginning “For instance, two team are playing…” and a contrast introduced by “However.” This shows some effort to vary sentence forms. However, control is inconsistent, and errors in agreement, articles, verb forms, and sentence construction often make the meaning hard to follow. For example, “these events makes” has a subject–verb agreement error, while “every year country are held” is not a workable sentence structure. The sentence about the two football teams also shifts awkwardly between forms. Practise building accurate simple sentences first, then combine related ideas using controlled complex structures and check punctuation and agreement.
