Student answer (Band 5.5)
In the contemporary era, few individuals argue that international sport events, like as Olympics or World Cup, plays a significant role to bring different countries together whereas, others disagree with this viewpoint because it creates tension and competition between them. In my opinion I completely agree with people who are on the side of playing different countries together.
To commence with, International sports are cruical because it leads to overall development of society and build good communication level. As youth nowadays if they get opportunity to participate in another countries sports or games it leads to holistic development of society they get to learn new skills such as collabration, time management and many more. For instance, Youth playing in different countries got to know about their different skills based on different culture that expands their knowledge to greater extent. Furthermore, communication is the most vital component for any person. If they are good enough in communication that leads to enhance their personality and make them feel confident. By indulging in sports of others nations helps to build strong communication connections whereas, they can learn variety of other languages. To ellaborate it more, If a person participating with other nation players they will share a sense of communication words or sign language, gestures that leads to develop their personality.
On the other hand, Individuals who states that it creates competiton not friendship. They believe peer pressure and conflicts between opponents are main causes to that. Some people plays games to win and tehy have alot of peer pressure in their minds that leadsto stress and showing themselves superior to others. For instance, this kind of fellings creates a sense of jealous between youth that will effect their emotional sense in future. Additionaly, the natives who never stayed in the groups together when they comes in team leads to differnt conflicts because they doesnot have any knowledge about teamwork.
In my opinion to that, the best way to bring countries together that not only leads to economic growth but also personal growth of individual.
As if countries plays together helps to build effective relations of countries with each other to start business or investment. For instance, Japan and India doing business together that leads to economic growth at high level.
To conclude, while bringing two countries together has its own benefits that teach individuals different skills such as Coordination, collabration, communication, teamwork, holistic and intellectual knowledge. Whereas, it leads to tension, competition and stress as well . Therefore, I believe it has significant good viewpoints rather than bad viewpoints.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
You address both views and state a clear preference for the idea that sport brings countries together. The first main paragraph gives relevant reasons, including learning skills and communicating across cultures, while the next recognises pressure and conflict as possible drawbacks. However, several points are asserted rather than explained: the link between sports participation and “overall development of society” is broad, and the Japan–India business example does not clearly show how a sporting event leads to investment. Your conclusion repeats the benefits but does not resolve the contrast in much detail. To strengthen the response, explain more directly how international events foster cooperation, and develop the opposing view with a specific example of rivalry or tension.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0
The response has an introduction, separate paragraphs for the two views, a paragraph stating your opinion, and a conclusion, so the reader can identify its general structure. You also use signposts such as “On the other hand,” “Furthermore,” and “To conclude.” However, progression within paragraphs is often unclear: the first paragraph moves from youth development to communication without a strong link, and the opinion paragraph introduces economic growth rather abruptly. Some connectors are repetitive or awkwardly placed, including “whereas” and “To elaborate it more,” while unclear references such as “that” make relationships between ideas difficult to follow. Give each paragraph one central purpose and connect each example explicitly to its supporting point.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
You attempt a range of topic-related vocabulary, including “holistic development,” “peer pressure,” “conflicts,” “investment,” and “collaboration.” These choices show an effort to discuss both social and economic effects. However, the range is not consistently controlled, and repeated or inaccurate expressions sometimes make the meaning less clear. Examples include “playing different countries together,” “communication level,” and “a sense of jealous”; several words are also misspelled, such as “cruical,” “collabration,” and “competiton.” Some phrases sound unnatural for this topic, which limits precision. Build a reliable set of collocations for sport and international relations, and check spelling and word forms before submitting.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and longer sentences, using clauses with “because,” “if,” and “whereas,” as well as examples introduced by “For instance.” However, complex sentences are often faulty, and errors occur frequently enough to make some passages difficult to read. For example, “international sport events … plays” has a subject–verb agreement problem, while “If they are good enough in communication that leads to enhance” has an incomplete or incorrectly linked structure. There are also recurring problems with articles, plurals, and verb forms, as in “countries plays” and “they doesnot have.” Punctuation around clauses is inconsistent. Practise building shorter, accurate sentences first, then combine ideas using one clear subordinate clause at a time.
