latter-
Due to globalization, many games are organized on national and international level. Considering this, some individuals argue that sports events bring harmony in the society , while others believe that it creates competitive environment, which could lead to negative consequences. According to my perspective, sport events are necessary for economic growth and to maintain relations with other nations.
There are many reasons by the people who support the former view.To begin with, some countries often sponsor Olympics and world cup games due to its significant benefits and bring out talent of players. Besides this, it often accounts that diplomatic relations of the participated nations improve by organizing games. Many individuals including players, audiances from all our the world, news reporters, famous personalities are involved in sports events, which express warmth and welcoming trend for all the people. To exemplify, India and Pakistan have maintained tis political relation through games. Secondly, Some games are played in a group, which develop teamwork and other virtues such as sharing caring. Hence, organizing sports events are paramount to strenghthen the ralation of the nations.
On the flip side, It is not denying that some players and viewers get offend when their countries may not win the games. Sometime viewers starts to provoke opposite team by speaking bad words and slangs. Hence, I concure that a balanced approach should be accounted to deal with the trend.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0
You present a relevant position, stating that sports events are “necessary for economic growth and to maintain relations,” and you give some reasons for the view that they can unite countries, including improved diplomatic relations and teamwork. However, the discussion is only partial: the opposing view is reduced to players and viewers feeling offended or using insults, with little explanation of how international competition can create tension between countries. Your own opinion is also not fully consistent, since the conclusion focuses on economic development without clearly resolving whether these events bring countries together or create rivalry. Develop both sides with specific explanations and examples, then state a clear, consistent judgement.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0
The response has a basic paragraph structure, and signposts such as “To begin with,” “On the flip side,” and “To recapitulate” help identify the intended stages of the discussion. However, progression is limited: the first main paragraph contains several loosely connected points, while the opposing view is very brief and the conclusion ends abruptly. Some links are unclear or repetitive, including “Hence” used to introduce conclusions in close succession. The opening notes (“former” and “latter”) also interrupt the essay’s flow. Organise each body paragraph around one main claim, explain it in a logical sequence, and use referencing and transitions that show how each point supports the argument.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
You attempt a range of topic-related vocabulary, including “diplomatic relations,” “teamwork,” “virtues,” and “economic growth,” and the general meaning is usually recoverable. However, word choice, collocation, and spelling are often inaccurate, sometimes making ideas difficult to follow. Examples include “the participated nations,” “maintained tis political relation,” “get offend,” and “economic developmne.” “Warmth and welcoming trend” is also an unclear expression in this context. Aim for accurate, natural combinations rather than inserting formal-sounding phrases; for example, describe countries as “participating nations” and say that events can “strengthen diplomatic ties.” Proofread carefully for spelling and choose vocabulary that expresses your intended meaning precisely.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and more complex sentence forms, including a relative clause in “games, which develop teamwork” and a conditional idea in “when their countries may not win.” However, control is inconsistent, and frequent errors affect clarity. For example, “some individuals argue … while others believe that it creates” has an agreement problem, and “some players and viewers get offend” uses an incorrect verb form. There are also errors with articles, plurals, and sentence boundaries, as in “on national and international level” and “Sometime viewers starts.” Build accuracy first in straightforward sentences, checking subject–verb agreement and verb forms, then extend them with subordinate clauses. Review punctuation and capitalisation so sentences are clearly separated.
