Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
You address all three points: you identify the Karan Aujla concert in Phagwara, explain that you attended with your friend and enjoyed seeing a favourite singer, and suggest providing chairs and water. These details make the letter relevant and its purpose clear. The enjoyment is supported by personal details such as taking photos and fulfilling a dream, although some of these points are difficult to understand and the reasons for enjoying the performance itself are not fully explained. Your improvement suggestions are useful, but could be developed by explaining how seating and water access affected attendees or proposing specific arrangements. A clearer, more complete account of these ideas would make the response more fully developed.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The letter has a recognisable structure, with separate paragraphs for the concert, your experience, and suggestions, followed by an appropriate closing. The reader can generally follow the order of events, from attending with your friend to describing the facilities that could be improved. However, progression within paragraphs is sometimes difficult to follow: phrases such as “Both a favorite singer and missing a not this show” and “That is it our dream a succesful” do not clearly connect the ideas. Linking words and references are also limited, and “I am sure you are understand my talk” does not smoothly lead into the closing. Use clear sentence-to-sentence links and organise each paragraph around one main point.
Lexical Resource: Band 4.5
You use some task-relevant vocabulary, including “concert,” “favorite singer,” “videos and photos,” “seating,” and “water,” so the main topic is identifiable. However, the range is basic and repetitive, and inaccurate word choice, collocation, and spelling often make the message harder to understand. For example, “a more memerios” appears to mean “more memories,” while “masses” is not a natural way to refer to concert attendees. Phrases such as “a weekend holidays” and “a prompt respone” also show limited control of natural expressions. Build a wider set of accurate phrases for describing live music, audience experience, and event facilities, and check spelling and word forms carefully.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5
You attempt to communicate several events and reasons using simple sentences, and the overall message can be understood in places. However, sentence structures are very limited, and errors in verb forms, articles, agreement, and sentence construction frequently make individual ideas unclear. For instance, “I attend a concert last week ago” does not use the past tense correctly, and “I went watch this show” is missing the required verb form. “I am sure you are understand” also has an incorrect verb pattern. Practise building complete sentences with a clear subject and verb, especially when describing past events, and review articles and prepositions. More accurate simple sentences should come before attempts at longer structures.
