Student answer (Band 5.5)
Dear Sir or Madam,
I am writing this letter to state my feedback about the concerts that I have attended last month in toronto park closed by my neighborhood.
I have participate in concert regarding how to find a Government Job? This is very imformative to me, as I am recently graduated and looking for job to settle my career. Becuase of free entry, I am very thankful to you and you have given a plenty of imformation regarding skills and experience which requires in a job and how to apply by using a free canadian job bank website.
I really enjoyed this concert as this is placed in summer time and I have enough time to find suitable job in my recepective field.
But, I have some suggestions to offer to improve this cencerts. Although this is imformative, only few students took participate becuase they were not aware of this concert. So, you can may be use social media or university plateform for better advertisement. I would be grateful if you could investigate this matter.
Yours faithfully,
Dharmik

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
You identify the concert as one about finding a government job and explain why it was useful to you, including the free entry and information about job applications. You also offer a relevant improvement: promoting future events through social media or university platforms. However, the task asks about a concert in the park, and the response does not clearly establish that this job-information event was one of the summer concerts. The enjoyment explanation is also brief and focuses mainly on your personal job search, while the suggestion about reaching students could be developed with another practical improvement, such as clearer signs or a wider range of performances. These gaps leave parts of the task only partially addressed.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The letter has a recognisable structure: an opening purpose, a description of the event, an explanation of your enjoyment, and a final paragraph with suggestions. The sequence is generally easy to follow, and connectors such as “Because of” and “Although” help show relationships between ideas. Some links are less clear, however. For example, “I have participate in concert regarding how to find a Government Job?” does not connect smoothly to the opening, and “this is placed in summer time” is an unclear reference to what you enjoyed. The final paragraph combines the low attendance, lack of awareness, and advertising suggestion without fully explaining their relationship. Clearer transitions and more precise references would make the progression smoother.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use enough topic-related vocabulary to communicate the main points, including “free entry,” “skills and experience,” “advertisement,” and “social media.” There are also attempts at more specific expressions, such as “suitable job” and “recepective field.” However, spelling and word-choice errors are noticeable and sometimes make the reader pause: “imformative,” “becuase,” “cencerts,” and “plateform” are examples. Some phrases are also unnatural, including “state my feedback,” “a plenty of imformation,” and “took participate.” Aim for accurate spelling and common collocations, and choose vocabulary that fits a concert-feedback letter rather than a job-advice context. This would make your meaning more precise and natural.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and more complex sentences, including a reason clause beginning “Because” and a contrast introduced by “Although.” These attempts show some range, but errors occur frequently and can make parts of the letter difficult to interpret. For example, “I have participate” uses an incorrect verb form, while “concerts that I have attended last month” combines tenses awkwardly. In “you can may be use,” the modal construction is faulty, and “only few students took participate” has problems with the determiner and verb pattern. There are also issues with articles and sentence construction. Practise forming accurate past-tense sentences and using one modal verb at a time, then check each sentence for a clear subject and verb.
