Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 3.5

You identify the event as a concert about using bins and not littering, and you explain that you valued its message about protecting public property and the environment. You also suggest holding similar events every year and choosing different topics. However, the task asks which concert you attended, and the description is not clear enough to identify it as a particular concert. Your reasons for enjoying it are also difficult to follow, while the suggestions are brief and not explained. The response therefore addresses the main points only partially. To strengthen it, name the concert clearly, explain one or two specific things you enjoyed, and give practical suggestions such as improving seating, sound, or publicity.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 4.0

The letter has a recognisable structure: an opening purpose, a paragraph about the event and its message, and a final paragraph with suggestions, followed by an appropriate closing. This gives the reader some overall direction. However, the progression within paragraphs is often unclear. For example, “I am very enjoy to this programme because I saw many people not aware to this” does not clearly connect your enjoyment to the audience’s lack of awareness. Several ideas are placed together without clear links, and phrases such as “In my opinion to say this” interrupt the flow. Use shorter, clearly connected sentences and organise the content around the three requested points to make the letter easier to follow.

Lexical Resource: Band 4.5

You use some relevant vocabulary for the topic, including “public property,” “save environment,” “management,” and “follow this rules.” These choices show an attempt to discuss the concert’s educational purpose and make suggestions. However, spelling errors and inaccurate word combinations are frequent enough to make parts of the message difficult to understand, as in “organied,” “appriciate,” “absulatly understable,” and “compolsary follow.” Some expressions are also unnatural, such as “aware for it” and “your speech with politly.” Build accuracy with common collocations: for example, say “raise awareness,” “protect public spaces,” and “follow these rules.” Proofreading spelling and word forms would make your meaning clearer.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5

You attempt both simple statements and longer sentences, and the reader can understand the general topic and your main recommendation. However, control of sentence structure and basic grammar is inconsistent. Examples include “the last concerts which was organised,” “I am very enjoy,” and “It is neccesary to everyone know,” where agreement, verb forms, and sentence patterns are faulty. Articles, plurals, and prepositions also need attention, as in “this concerts” and “in everyyear.” Most sentences require editing, and some are difficult to interpret because their grammatical relationships are unclear. Practise reliable patterns such as “I enjoyed the concert because…” and “It is necessary for everyone to…” before attempting longer sentences.
