Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0

You address all three points: you identify the musical concert, explain that you enjoyed the singer’s performance and piano playing, and suggest adding food and clothing stalls next summer. These details make the letter relevant and give the reader a clear sense of your experience. However, some points are only partly developed. For example, saying the concert was “useful” and that you learned about instruments does not explain clearly what you learned or how this added to your enjoyment. The suggestion about stalls is also brief and could be linked more directly to improving the event for attendees. Develop these ideas with specific examples, and close the letter with a complete, appropriate sign-off.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5

The response has a recognisable structure: an opening, paragraphs about the concert and its performer, and a final paragraph with a suggestion. This helps the council follow the main topics. However, progression within paragraphs is sometimes unclear, and several ideas repeat, such as describing the concert as “very useful” and saying you “enjoyed lots.” Linking phrases such as “Recently” and “Futuremore” do not always show the relationship between ideas accurately. The final sentence, “Thank you so much for or,” is incomplete and leaves the letter unfinished. Use clearer transitions, group related details more tightly, and finish with a conventional closing so the overall organisation feels complete.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use enough topic-related vocabulary to communicate the main experience, including “musical concert,” “special guest,” “singer,” “musical instruments,” and “piano.” There are also attempts to express evaluation, such as “incredible” and “energetic.” However, the range is limited and several word choices or combinations sound unnatural, sometimes making the meaning less clear. Examples include “informative for the local people,” “I enjoyed lots,” and “some of food and clothes store.” Spelling and word-form errors such as “Futuremore” and “peoples” also affect accuracy. Build a wider set of natural phrases for describing performances and practical event improvements, and check spelling and collocations when editing.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple statements and longer sentences, and the reader can generally understand the main message. However, the range of sentence structures is limited, and errors occur in verb forms, agreement, articles, and sentence boundaries. For example, “the concerts which is organised” has a subject–verb agreement problem, while “Recently you are organising the concerts … it is very amazing” combines clauses without a clear grammatical link. “She was singing the song full of energetic way” also shows problems with article use and sentence construction. Capitalisation and punctuation are inconsistent, as in “she” after a full stop and the missing space after “people.” Practise accurate past-tense descriptions and joining clauses with suitable conjunctions or punctuation.
