Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0
You identify the concert as the one featuring Justin Bieber and give a reason for enjoying it, describing it as “very amazing and Entertaining.” You also make a relevant suggestion about providing a safer, more suitable stage. However, these points are only briefly stated: the enjoyment is not explained with specific details, and the improvement suggestion is difficult to follow. The response also falls 60 words short of the required minimum, which leaves little room to develop the feedback and means the task is only partially addressed. To strengthen the letter, explain what made the performance enjoyable and give practical, clearly explained suggestions for next summer.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The ideas appear in a generally understandable order: you identify the event, comment on it, offer a suggestion, and close the letter. This gives the response an overall arrangement, and the short paragraphs help separate the main points. However, the progression is abrupt, with little connection between the concert description and your feedback. The opening “And i found it…” begins a sentence with a linking word without a clear connection, while “I would like to add a sugestion for better improvement is that…” makes the suggestion hard to follow. Use clearer transitions and organise the letter into fuller paragraphs—for example, one for your experience and another for recommendations.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use some vocabulary relevant to the situation, including “concert,” “main guest,” “singer,” and “stage,” so the reader can identify the topic and your main points. However, the range is limited, and several spelling and word-choice errors make the letter less clear or polished: “convert,” “concil,” “sugestion,” and “misshaps.” The phrase “very amazing and Entertaining” is also imprecise and repetitive in tone. Aim for accurate, natural expressions that describe the performance and facilities more specifically, such as the atmosphere, sound quality, or stage safety. Proofreading spelling and choosing more precise collocations would make your feedback easier to understand.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
The response communicates its basic meaning through mostly simple sentence patterns, and you attempt to combine ideas, as in “the concert went very well.” However, the range is limited, and errors in sentence construction and punctuation sometimes make the message difficult to follow. For example, “And i found it…” is a fragment linked awkwardly to the previous sentence, while “I would like to add a sugestion … is that” contains an incomplete or confused structure. Capitalisation and sentence boundaries are also inconsistent. Practise writing complete sentences with a clear subject and verb, and use a straightforward pattern for recommendations, such as “I suggest that the council provide…”
