Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5

You cover the main points by naming the Atif Aslam concert, explaining that you enjoyed the music and meeting old friends, and suggesting food stalls for future events. These details make the letter relevant to the council’s request. However, the feedback is only partly developed: the reason the concert was enjoyable is brief, and the suggestion focuses almost entirely on snacks, without explaining how stalls could be organised or offering another improvement. The opening also thanks the recipient for inviting you, rather than clearly presenting this as feedback about a concert you attended. Develop each point with a specific detail—for example, what made the performance memorable and how food stalls would improve visitors’ experience.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0

The response has a basic letter structure, with an opening, separate sections for the concert and suggestions, and a closing. The reader can identify the main ideas, but the progression is not consistently clear. For instance, the paragraph about the event bringing council members together appears before you identify the concert, and the later comments about youth and business opportunities repeat the food-stall suggestion rather than advancing it. Some links are also awkward or incomplete, such as “because of this event” and the sentence beginning “Because this event related to youth.” Organise the letter in the order of the task points, use clear paragraph breaks, and connect each explanation directly to the point it supports.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use enough basic vocabulary to communicate the central ideas, including “concert,” “favorite singer,” “good music,” and “snacks stall.” However, the range is limited and several word choices or collocations are inaccurate, which sometimes makes the meaning less natural. Examples include “positive affects on our lives,” “after a very time,” “in this concern,” and “some advancement in program.” Spelling and word-form errors such as “alots” and “meetup” also reduce precision. Aim for natural phrases suited to a feedback letter, such as “positive effect,” “after a long time,” “at this event,” and “improvements to the programme.” More precise vocabulary would help you explain your experience and suggestions clearly.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both short statements and longer sentences, and the main message is generally understandable. However, the range of sentence structures is limited, and errors occur frequently in basic grammar, agreement, articles, and punctuation. For example, “concert which were” has a number-agreement problem, while “I joined the atif aslam concert” has an incomplete article pattern. The sentence “because of this event all the council member gathered at the same place after a very time” also has several grammatical problems that make it difficult to follow. Capitalisation and sentence boundaries are inconsistent, as in the lowercase “because” after a full stop. Practise building accurate simple sentences first, then combine them with correctly formed clauses.
