Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
You address all three requested points: you identify the Arijit Singh concert, explain that you enjoyed the food stalls, space and activities, and suggest improvements to staffing and facilities. These details make the letter relevant and give the reader a clear sense of your experience. However, some points are less fully explained than others. For example, “security and steward were less” indicates a problem, but you could clarify what happened or how additional staff would help. The suggestion about “toiletry and seats” is also difficult to interpret, and the final reference to making the concerts “hygenic and helpful” does not specify practical changes. Develop each suggestion more clearly and directly.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The letter has a recognisable overall structure: an opening, a paragraph about the concert, a paragraph of suggestions and a closing. This helps the reader follow the main purpose. You also use sequencing expressions such as “secondly” and “firstly” to signal the order of ideas. However, some connections are mechanical or unclear, and several ideas are crowded into long sentences. For instance, the sentence beginning “I am excited to inform you” moves from the concert to the performer, food stalls and space without clear separation. The transition from enjoyment to criticism could also be smoother. Use shorter sentences, group related details together, and make each paragraph focus on one clear purpose.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You attempt vocabulary relevant to the topic, including “musical career,” “preparation,” “security” and “improvement,” and the reader can generally identify the experiences and concerns you mean. However, spelling and word-choice errors are noticeable and sometimes make meaning difficult to follow. Examples include “arijit sing,” “verity of local food stole,” “rution cycle” and “lLiter options.” Some expressions also do not fit naturally, such as “grab your attention” in this formal feedback letter. Choose precise, familiar terms and check spelling carefully; for example, name the performer clearly and describe the facilities directly as food stalls, seating, toilets and litter bins.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and more extended sentence forms, including a sentence that gives several reasons for enjoying the concert and another that introduces suggestions. However, errors in sentence construction and grammatical forms sometimes make these ideas hard to understand. For example, “one of the thrilled concert i ever enjoyed was” has problems with the noun phrase and verb form, while “A few points i wants” does not maintain subject–verb agreement. The sentence beginning “I am excited to inform you” also needs clearer punctuation to separate its ideas. Practise accurate past-tense forms when describing the event, agreement between subjects and verbs, and sentence boundaries. These changes would make your meaning more consistently clear.
