Student answer (Band 6.0)
In today's time, many large multi national companies offer their employees a chance to work abroad for a period of time. This chance has very positive impact on employees and it can help in growth of the companies.
Hardworking professionals can travel the world without have to worry about their job. Many job holders do not take leave as they have to complete their tasks and responsibilities, so this opportunity can help them to cross oceans and spend a little vacation on the other side of the world. For instsance, a person who has been working hard for the company and is not financially stable to see the world that person can be chosen by the company to complete their overseas tasks. This way it can help employee and company both in growing.
Moreover, this process can act as a token of appreciation for the employees and it can help companies to attract more loyalty from the staff. Furthermore, it can open new opportunities for the company to expand their premises overseas. One drawback I think is that employees who are not loyal to the company can find better oppotunities in another country thus, it can be a loss to company. Although, there is a disadvantage to this development but i think the advantages outweighs it.
To conclude, I think working in another country for sometime for your company is a golden opportunity both for staff and firm. It can help strenghthen the relation between job holders and employers and also it can open new doors for the company.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
You address both questions and maintain a clear, positive view of overseas assignments. For employees, you mention travel, recognition, and the chance to experience another country; for companies, you identify staff loyalty and overseas expansion. These are relevant points, but some are not fully explained. For example, the travel example focuses on taking a “little vacation,” rather than showing how living and working abroad benefits an employee professionally or personally. The company benefits would also be stronger with a specific explanation of how an employee’s local knowledge or skills could support expansion. Develop each main idea with a clear cause-and-effect explanation and a relevant example.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The response has a recognisable structure: an introduction, two body paragraphs, and a conclusion. Linking expressions such as “Moreover,” “Furthermore,” and “To conclude” help signal the stages of your argument. However, the progression within the body paragraphs is sometimes unclear. The first paragraph moves from work responsibilities to travel and then to financial circumstances without clearly connecting these points. The second combines employee appreciation, company expansion, and a drawback, so the main focus shifts several times. Some references, such as “This way,” are also vague. Group related ideas together, use clearer topic sentences, and explain how each example supports the paragraph’s central point.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
You use a range of relevant vocabulary, including “token of appreciation,” “loyalty,” “expand,” and “golden opportunity,” which helps communicate your main ideas. There are also attempts at less common expressions, but some choices are inaccurate or unnatural, such as “attract more loyalty,” “cross oceans,” and “open new doors” in this context. Spelling errors, including “instsance,” “oppotunities,” and “strenghthen,” also reduce accuracy. Aim for more precise collocations and check spelling carefully. For example, you could describe companies as “building employee loyalty” and employees as “gaining international experience,” which express your intended points more directly.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5
You attempt both simple and complex sentences, including clauses with “as,” “so,” and “although,” and your meaning is generally understandable. Some grammatical errors remain, particularly in verb forms, agreement, articles, and sentence boundaries. For example, “without have to worry” should be “without having to worry,” and “the advantages outweighs it” should be “the advantages outweigh it.” The sentence beginning “For instance, a person…” is difficult to follow because its clauses are not joined clearly, while “Although, there is a disadvantage…” uses punctuation and clause structure awkwardly. Review these patterns and punctuate longer sentences carefully to make your ideas easier to follow.
