Student answer (Band 5.0)

In this era doing work in another countries is the best way to learn new skills so offering staff about working or time living in different country is really a better way.

starting with my viewpoint , it is very good for employees to increase their communication skill as well as getting knowledge about different things from different persons at that way they can enhance the ability to do more creativity in their work . for example, if they are stuck in any kind of problem and even they do not have the solution for this but another country have the solution for that then this might be the good opportunity for them.

moreover, there are alot of advantages they will get while doing work from another country. For instances : they can learn different languages and also they can explore different things . bmost probabily they will get the chances to show their talent infront of other guys too. not only this but also offering this opportunity to staff can put directly positive impact to company and their carrer also . to be more specific working in different country offer them to create their own bussiness to also the thing is they can get new business ideas.

In conclusion, if all te countries will do the same thing then it would really a good opportunity for the staff to involve in different ocean.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.0

The response addresses both parts of the prompt, discussing benefits for employees and companies. However, the development of ideas is limited and often vague. For instance, the claim that 'another country have the solution' is unclear and lacks specific, logical support. The response is also under the 250-word minimum, which significantly impacts the depth of the argument. The ideas are presented in a repetitive manner, and the conclusion does not effectively summarize the main points, instead introducing a confusing metaphor about an 'ocean'. To improve, you must expand on your points with concrete examples and ensure you meet the minimum word count requirement.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.5

The essay is organized into paragraphs, but the logical progression is weak. While some cohesive devices like 'moreover' and 'in conclusion' are used, they are often applied mechanically or inappropriately. The transition between ideas is frequently abrupt, and the referencing is sometimes unclear, such as the pronoun 'they' referring to different groups in the same sentence. Paragraphing is present but the internal structure of the paragraphs lacks a clear topic sentence followed by supporting details. Improving the use of linking words and ensuring each paragraph focuses on a single, well-developed idea will help improve the flow of your writing.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.0

The vocabulary is basic and repetitive. You rely heavily on simple words like 'good', 'things', and 'different'. There are several instances of awkward word choices and non-standard collocations, such as 'do more creativity' instead of 'enhance creativity' and 'infront of other guys' which is too informal for an IELTS task. Spelling errors, such as 'bussiness', 'carrer', and 'te', also detract from the overall quality. To reach a higher band, you should aim to use a wider range of vocabulary, including topic-specific collocations related to international business and professional development, while ensuring accurate spelling.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0

The essay contains a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors that occasionally impede clarity. Common issues include subject-verb agreement ('another country have'), missing articles, and incorrect preposition usage. Punctuation is also inconsistent, with spaces missing after commas and periods. While the meaning is generally understandable, the high frequency of errors in basic grammar prevents the essay from reaching a higher band. Focusing on sentence construction, specifically ensuring subject-verb agreement and correct article usage, will significantly improve your accuracy.
