Student answer (Band 6.5)
In recent years many multinational companies have provided opportunities for their employees to dedicate their time staying and working in another country. There are several reasons for this new development. I strongly believe this is a good change for the growth of the company.
One of the major favorable aspect of gaining experience outside the home country is to know about the diverse culture and international business tactics. Employees can gain experience in skills like cross-cultural negotiation or understanding local market regulations. For example, many organizations fund international business trips to help their employees familiarize themselves with the local environment and establish professional relationships with colleagues from other countries. This could boost the morale of an employee as well as they see potential development.
Another benefit is, companies can attract the best talent around the globe by competing internationally. Furthermore, these companies can be benefit by employees who are familiar with global strategies. For instance, there are few organizations who take part in global meetings sending their best representatives to give a presentation on expertise of the company.
I believe, it's a two way process for the company as well as the employees. Although, companies have to invest in their best talents to another country, they also see positive outcome after new knowledge is introduced eventually.
In conclusion, multinational companies should allocate sufficient financial resources to employees who have the capabilities to represent them internationally and introduce innovative strategies. Investing in such employees can strengthen international relationships, improve business performance, and contribute to the company’s long-term growth.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.5
The response addresses both parts of the prompt: benefits for employees and advantages for companies. The ideas are relevant, such as cross-cultural negotiation skills for employees and talent acquisition for companies. However, the development is somewhat superficial. For instance, the point about 'attracting the best talent' is mentioned but not fully explored in terms of how international exposure specifically aids this. The position is clear throughout, but the depth of analysis could be improved to reach higher bands. The response is balanced, covering both perspectives as requested.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 7.0
The essay is logically organized with a clear introduction, body paragraphs, and a conclusion. Paragraphing is used appropriately to separate distinct ideas. Cohesive devices such as 'One of the major favorable aspect', 'Furthermore', and 'In conclusion' are used to guide the reader. However, some transitions are slightly mechanical, and there are minor issues with referencing and flow, such as the slightly awkward phrasing in the transition between the second and third paragraphs. Overall, the progression of ideas is clear and easy to follow.
Lexical Resource — Band 6.0
The vocabulary is generally adequate for the task. The student uses some topic-specific terms like 'multinational companies', 'cross-cultural negotiation', and 'local market regulations'. However, there are some inaccuracies in word choice and collocation, such as 'favorable aspect' (should be 'aspects') and 'can be benefit by' (should be 'can benefit from'). While the range is sufficient to convey meaning, it lacks the precision and flexibility required for higher bands. The vocabulary is functional but not particularly sophisticated.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 6.0
The essay uses a mix of simple and complex sentence structures. There are several grammatical errors, such as 'One of the major favorable aspect' (subject-verb agreement/pluralization) and 'invest in their best talents to another country' (preposition error). Additionally, 'there are few organizations who take part' is slightly awkward. While these errors do not impede communication, they occur frequently enough to prevent a higher score. The control of punctuation is generally good, but the grammatical slips indicate a need for more careful proofreading.
