Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0
The response addresses both parts of the prompt: benefits for employees and advantages for companies. The position is clear from the introduction. However, the development of ideas is somewhat limited. For instance, the argument regarding 'financial support' and 'loans' between international branches is slightly illogical and lacks depth. While the ideas are relevant, they are not fully extended or supported with sophisticated reasoning. The conclusion is a bit repetitive and does not add new insight. To reach a higher band, you should focus on providing more realistic and detailed examples to support your arguments, ensuring that the logic behind your claims is sound and easy for the reader to follow.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0
The essay is organized into clear paragraphs, which helps the reader follow the structure. There is a logical progression of ideas from the introduction to the body paragraphs and the conclusion. However, the use of cohesive devices is sometimes mechanical or slightly inaccurate. For example, starting a paragraph with 'Talking on other hand' is non-standard and awkward. Additionally, there are instances where referencing is unclear, such as the use of 'they' and 'the company' in the third paragraph, which makes it difficult to identify the specific subject being discussed. Improving the variety and precision of linking words will help the flow of your writing.
Lexical Resource — Band 6.0
The vocabulary is generally adequate for the task, allowing you to convey your meaning clearly. You use some topic-specific terms like 'multi-national organizations' and 'international clients'. However, there are several instances of word-choice errors and awkward collocations, such as 'adapt to the practice of offering their employees to work and leave', 'polish themself', and 'bring identification to company'. These errors occasionally distract the reader. To improve, focus on learning common collocations and ensuring that your word choices are natural in the context of professional business English. Expanding your range of vocabulary beyond basic terms will also help you achieve a higher score.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5
You demonstrate a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors throughout the text. Common issues include subject-verb agreement ('They shares', 'if person working'), article usage ('to the world about the the company'), and sentence fragments ('Which can help them...'). While these errors do not completely impede communication, they are persistent and occur in both simple and complex structures. To improve, you should pay closer attention to basic grammatical rules, such as pluralization and article placement, and proofread your work to catch these minor slips before finalizing your response.
