It has been observed that many international organizations provides an opportunity to their employees to live and work in another nation for a couple of years. This trend has numerous advantages and reasons such as diversity, new working methods and work-life balance.
Commencing with the prominent reason of work-life balance. In other words, many companies have employees whose been working with them from more than a decade and their life becomes both repetative and boring. Therefore, working and living in totally different nation provides them a freedom to explore different traditional and cultural values, where they can socialize with individuals from different backgrounds. For instance, an Asian person moved to America where he can explore and learn different aspects of the country and eventually get a new prespective in a life.
One of the main advantage of this trend is workers learn new working methods. To be specific, international companies not only use different softwares but also have different working hours. Moreover, employees get a chance to learn them and adapt them more easily if they live in that particular nation. Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 7.0
The response successfully addresses all parts of the prompt, exploring both the benefits for employees and the advantages for companies. The student discusses work-life balance, new working methods, and productivity in a relevant manner. The ideas are extended and supported with examples, such as an Asian worker moving to America or a US-based company providing accommodation to a worker from India. While some ideas could be slightly more deeply developed to reach the highest tiers, the overall response fully satisfies the task requirements with a clear position maintained throughout.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.5
The essay displays a clear logical organisation and progression throughout. Each paragraph has a distinct focus, moving from an introduction to employee benefits, company advantages, and a concluding summary. Cohesive devices are used, such as 'Commencing with', 'To be specific', 'Moreover', and 'In conclusion', though some transitional phrases feel slightly mechanical or formulaic. Paragraphing is used appropriately, and referencing is generally clear, allowing the reader to follow the arguments smoothly from start to finish.
Lexical Resource — Band 6.0
The student uses an adequate range of vocabulary for the task, successfully attempting less common items such as 'diversity', 'traditional and cultural values', and 'adequate productivity'. However, there are some noticeable word choice and spelling inaccuracies, such as 'provides' instead of 'provide' for plural subjects, 'repetative' instead of 'repetitive', 'prespective' instead of 'perspective', 'adiqute' instead of 'adequate', and 'accomodation' instead of 'accommodation'. These errors do not impede communication, placing the vocabulary firmly in the Band 6 territory.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 6.0
The writer employs a mix of simple and complex sentence forms, demonstrating some control over grammar with structures like 'many companies have employees whose been working with them...'. However, there are several grammatical and punctuation errors throughout the text, such as 'organizations provides', 'whose been working', 'different nation' missing an article ('a different nation'), and run-on sentences like 'For example, a person is working for a US based company from India face difficulties...'. These frequent errors occasionally cause strain, but they rarely impede overall communication.
