Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0
The response addresses both parts of the prompt, discussing why the opportunity is good for employees and what advantages it brings to companies. However, the development of ideas is somewhat repetitive and vague in places. For instance, the discussion on employee skill development mentions that it boosts 'the quality of ideas in their mind,' but this point lacks concrete elaboration. While an example is provided regarding advertising and international customers, the explanation becomes slightly convoluted and tangential. The position is clear throughout, but the depth of support aligns best with Band 6 descriptors, where relevant ideas are presented, but some parts feel under-developed or unclear.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0
The text is generally coherent and shows an attempt to logically sequence ideas with basic cohesive devices such as 'To begin with,' 'Moreover,' and 'To conclude with.' However, referencing is sometimes unclear, such as the dangling pronouns in 'Their one of the goals is also going to earn more revenue.' Paragraphing is used, but the internal flow within paragraphs is occasionally disrupted by awkward transitions and run-on phrasing. For example, the sentence 'Then, they can plan and execute in a way which will give them a huge profit...' breaks the logical progression. Overall organisation is adequate, earning a Band 6.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.5
The vocabulary used is adequate for the task, attempting some less common collocations such as 'multinational businesses,' 'overseas expertise,' and 'financial gains.' However, there are noticeable word-choice and collocation errors, including 'Thesedays' (misspelling), 'having an foreign experience' (article error), 'living stanadard' (spelling and phrasing), and 'gives them a stand for a long time.' These lexical inaccuracies and limitations place the response firmly in the Band 5.5 to 6.0 range, where an adequate range is shown, but errors in word choice and spelling occasionally surface.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5
The writer attempts a mix of simple and complex sentence forms, demonstrating some ambitious structures such as relative clauses ('a business firm who invests in the advertisements of the products; if the staff includes...'). However, there are frequent grammatical errors and punctuation issues, including sentence fragments ('Then, they can plan and execute...'), comma splices, and agreement errors ('It will definitely provides them'). While these errors do not completely impede communication, they occur frequently enough to prevent the response from achieving a higher band, making a Band 5.5 the most appropriate score.
