Student answer (Band 6.0)

Nowadays many large international companies offers their employees a chance to live and work in abroad for a certain period of time. This can be highly beneficial for the employees because it helps them to develop professionally and personally. Simultaneously, companies can gain several benefits from a staff having international experience.

For employees, working in another companies can be a excellent opportunity to broaden their horizons and develop new skills. Living in a different cutural environment requires them to interact with people from diverse bacgrounds, which in turn helps them to improve interpersonal communication skills. They may learn a foreign language and may become more adaptable when dealing with unfamiliar situations. In addition, international work experience can strengthen their career prospects, and employers also value people who have demonstrated independence, flexibility and have ability to work with multicultural teams. For example, nurses who have worked overseas may gain knowledge and practical skills and later apply this experience in their home country.

Companies can also benefit from this development. Firstly, employees who have worked overseas can bring new ideas, skills and knowledge back to their organisation. This can encourage innovation, and helps the company to understand the internationa markets efficiently. Secondly, sending employees abroad can strengthen cooperation in international teams at global level.

In conclusion, temporary overseas employent can provide empoyees with better career prospects, valuable professional skills and cultural awareness. For companies, it can promote innovation, strengthen international cooperation and help them perform effectively in gobal markets. Therefore, this type of opportunity is mutually beneficial for employees as well as the employers.
