Student answer (Band 5.5)
In contemporary society, the practice of spending a period of time living and working in another country has emerged a prominent subject of discussion, the importance of which was always deabtable. While the faction of the society contends that it improves both companies worth and employees lifestyle, others vehemently reject this notion. From my perspective, providing an opportunity to the employees to live and to work in another country is beneficial for both a person and for the company as well. This essay will critically analyze both the viewpoints alongside relevant examples to provide a well-reasoned conclusion.
On the one hand, there are compelling arguments supporting the former notion. The primary catalyst behind this school of thought is that if the employee moves from the company and work and live in another country, he develop more skills, he may learn some new things. To expand on this, changing one's physical surrounding can significantly effect his behaviour, and living and working in new place also enhance your mental ability, and it also keep workers motivated without sacrificing their output. A prime illustration of this can be seen in a 2025 global survey by Eurostat. Consequently, it is clear that giving opportunity to an employee, is a good gesture for a person and the company as well, which validate that why this perspective commands significant support.
On the other hand, a strong case can be made for the second perspective which i also endorse. A pivotal aspect to consider is that growth and development of a company mainly depends upon a team members who are working in the business. This is primary because all of the companies and main operations of a business is carried out by his employess, which in reward works as vital role for the development of the company. Therefore, it becomes patently obvious that a company should make his employee to work and gain experience as well as developskills from different areas and regions, highlighting the profound merits of this perspective.
In conclusion, although the discourse surrounding working in another country is highly multifaceted, the long-term benefits associated with opportunity undeniably outweigh the alternative. Moving forward, it is imperative that professionals much schedule the time period to spend and to work in other countries for its future developments.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
The student addresses all parts of the task by discussing both why international assignments benefit employees and the advantages they bring to companies. A clear position is established in the introduction and maintained throughout the response. Ideas are introduced and supported with explanations, such as mentioning how changing physical surroundings enhances mental abilities and keeps workers motivated. However, some arguments lack deep development and rely on broad assertions rather than fully elaborated examples, as seen in the vague reference to a 2025 Eurostat survey without specific details. Additionally, the essay contains a contradictory statement in the third paragraph where the author claims to endorse the 'second perspective' despite having previously supported the overall premise. Nevertheless, the main task requirements are sufficiently met, aligning well with the Band 6 descriptors.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The response features a clear overall arrangement with standard introductory, body, and concluding paragraphs. Cohesive devices such as 'On the one hand', 'On the other hand', 'To expand on this', and 'In conclusion' are used to structure the text, though some transitions feel a bit mechanical or repetitive. Paragraphing is handled reasonably well to separate distinct ideas. However, referencing and cohesion occasionally falter, as demonstrated by awkward pronoun shifts and unclear antecedents, such as 'if the employee moves from the company and work and live in another country, he develop more skills'. These minor disruptions prevent the writing from achieving a higher band, placing it solidly at Band 6.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
The student demonstrates an adequate range of vocabulary for the task, attempting some less common phrases like 'contemporary society', 'prominent subject of discussion', and 'multifaceted'. However, there are noticeable limitations and inaccuracies in word choice and collocation throughout the text. Examples include 'has emerged a prominent subject of discussion' (missing preposition), 'companies worth' (grammatical error in possessive form), and 'professionals much schedule' (lexical/typographical error for 'must'). Spelling and word-formation errors occur, but they do not severely impede communication. The vocabulary control is characteristic of a Band 5.5 or 6.0 level.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
The response exhibits a mix of simple and complex sentence forms, demonstrating some ambition in sentence structure through conditional clauses and relative pronouns. However, grammatical accuracy is weak, with frequent errors in subject-verb agreement, verb forms, and pronoun reference. For instance, the student writes 'he develop more skills', 'can significantly effect his behaviour' (confusing affect and effect), and 'a company should make his employee to work'. Punctuation and article usage also show persistent flaws. While simple sentences are generally understandable, the frequent errors in complex structures pull the score down to Band 5.0.
