Nowadays many large international companies offer their staff the opportunity to spend a period of time living and working in another country.

Why might this opportunity be good for employees?

What advantages does this development have for companies?

Student answer (Band 6.5)

Most of the big companies provide their workers a chance to travel abroad these days. I firmly believe that it is a positive for both the organization and the employees as it helps them to create a strong bond with each other.

Exploring the world is the most common desire among everyone. Travelling on our own expensive always makes it difficult. People usually get strucked in a job to home cycle and apprently never get an ocassion to plan a vacation outside the country. But if companies sponsor their employees, it makes dream come true for some of them, specially the fact that they are not loosing their job. They do not have to spend from their pocket. I used to work for an employer, last year and we were given a tour of Australia for 2 weeks. When literally came back as different people because of the experiance we had there. Now everyone is working hard because they know that there is still much more to achieve.

Apart from the employees, the companies also have some positive impacts as a result. The major one is that the workers work hard if they are happy with the company. They can help the organization achieve their goals easily. Morover, Companies will have their loyal and trusted employees. They will not have to hire new staffs and their workload can be minimized by a positive environment among both of them. In my case, our company was doing better on records every year by the same staff after they started organizing these trips.

To sum up, providing a chance to work and travel at the same time brings a chance to explore the beautiful world for the workers and at the same time it is profitable for the owners.
