Student answer (Band 5.5)
In this modern era, many big companies give their staff an opportunity to spend their time of living and working in the another country. Employees have possibility to learn and adapt the new things from the different countries. There are some advantages of this development that will be elucidate in the upcoming paragraphs.
To embark upon, the first advantage is it brings the new opportunities for an employee to enhance their growth in the company. Whenever a worker goes to different countries they learn the new skills such as intellectual and a cognitive which is very significant for the growth of the company. To exemplify, in Mumbai company named Gupta Traders sends their employees to an international trip every year so that they can go learn the new things and implement them into their business.
Moreover, the another merit of this development is it gives a chance to the employees to learn about the new cultures of the different countries along with that it also gives them relax and flexible period from the busy schedule. To illustrate, recent survey has shown in which they found out companies whose workers are going out for the international trips are more productive as they generate the both economic and social growth.
To recapitulate, it is a positive aspect for both companies as well as the worker because workers learn and adapt the new things from the another companies and they implement them in their own companies. This lead the growth of both the employees as well as the companies.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0
The response addresses the prompt by discussing why living and working abroad benefits employees and companies, but the ideas remain limited and under-developed. For example, while the writer mentions that workers learn 'intellectual and a cognitive' skills and cites a company named Gupta Traders in Mumbai, the explanation lacks depth and specific reasoning to fully explore how this impacts both parties. The conclusion also introduces slight confusion by stating that workers learn from 'another companies' and implement it in their own, which slightly misinterprets the core premise of internal company mobility. Consequently, the position is not always clearly sustained throughout, aligning with a partial treatment of the task.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
There is some basic organisation with a clear introduction and conclusion, and the writer attempts to use sequential markers such as 'To embark upon' and 'Moreover'. However, there is a lack of clear overall progression, and some cohesive devices are used inaccurately or feel mechanical, such as 'To embark upon' as an introductory transitional phrase. Paragraphing is present, but referencing is occasionally unclear, as seen in the third paragraph where the pronoun reference 'they found out' lacks a precise antecedent. To reach a higher level, the response needs smoother transitions and more precise logical links between sentences and paragraphs.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
The vocabulary range is limited but minimally adequate to convey basic ideas about working abroad, employee growth, and productivity. There are noticeable lexical errors, awkward word choices, and collocation issues throughout the text, such as 'time of living', 'adapt the new things', 'international trip' instead of placement or secondment, and 'gives them relax and flexible period'. Furthermore, repetitive phrasing like 'new things' and 'different countries' appears multiple times. These inaccuracies can cause some minor difficulty for the reader, though the general meaning remains understandable.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
The writer demonstrates a very limited range of grammatical structures, relying mostly on simple sentences alongside poorly controlled complex attempts. Frequent errors occur in articles ('in the another country', 'the new things'), prepositions ('go learn' instead of 'go and learn'), plurals, and redundancy ('the both economic'). Attempts at complex sentence forms are often faulty, and frequent errors in grammar and punctuation can cause difficulty and strain for the reader. Greater control over basic syntactic structures and a wider variety of accurate complex forms are required to progress.
